Exactly, it has one meaning only and that is he does considered her as his wife. In his subconcious mind he already accepted his marriage with her and that's y he is trying to distance himself from saudamini. That nyt also he told her many times to go, this is not ryt time to stay here. Might be i am wrong here, but that's what i concluded after seeing his behaviour.
