Lavy

Lavy is basically my twin. I am surprised by how much we think alike. There is never a boring moment with Lavy. She makes this forum come alive with her presence. With that, she is very caring and always remembers things you tell her. It’s funny how we have become such good friends in such a short time. I am always surprised by Lavy’s maturity and it feels like she is the same age as me. Lavy has many talents. She is really good at writing Fan Fiction and One Shots. If you ever feel down, take a look at her thread of memes and you will end up laughing. As you can already tell, she is full of creativity. The first time I talked to Lavy was in the introduction thread where we both found out that we had the same favorite TV actor and actress: Vishal Vashistha and Aditi Dev Sharma. After talking more, we realized that we both watched the show Gangaa. From here, our coincidences only grew. Lavy always takes initiative in forum activities whether it is forum awards, gotw, potw, or the upcoming drabble. She likes to make birthday threads for her friends and even took the initiative to maintain the forum birthday calendar even though she will mostly be inactive in the coming months due to academics. Besides this, Lavy loves to garden and has shared pictures of her flowers. She likes to read and is a big fan of Sherlock as you can see in her display picture.

Isa

Isa is like the older sister I never had. She is witty and sassy but also cares deeply about others. Caring about others comes naturally to her as she is a physician. She worked on the frontlines during this pandemic and therefore she is an inspiration to us all who are pursuing the medical field. Isa thinks very differently from me. Therefore, she has taught me to think from a different perspective. She has encouraged and motivated me to set new goals for myself academically and challenge myself. Besides academics she has given me good life advice and also recommends good books to read. The first time I talked to Isa was in a thread about dialogues. There was some confusion about a dialogue because Isa said it in English but then I was able to translate it to Hindi and remembered the scene. Another reason why I like being friends with Isa is because she reminds me a lot of my best friend who balances out my crazy personality. Like her, Isa is also someone I can go to for advice without the fear of being judged. I know she will give her honest opinion because she cares about my well-being. A little bit about Isa is that she likes to read and travel when she is not busy with work which is rare. She is always stuck in meetings very late at night. She is a pescatarian and loves eating fish. I recently learned she likes Curious George and Elmo.
