Yup he doesn't do things for challenges but many times he has that flashbacks of binoy telling him jalega tumhara risht, tumhara pyaar blah blah... everytime so i do think thats also a big factor.
For now he is seeing her as only responsibility, he is not yet realising how similar they both are, the kind if person she is and all. Gradually he may realise it like in that kapde churana episode. Maybe with future tracks he may realise it and start seeing her as someone who can be with him for his mission and all.
