I never care if the movie has insiders or outsiders. I only want a good entertaining movie to watch. I do not want to watch a sad or depressing movie.

I don't really understand that what's with defence of Karan johar. Everyone is rightfully getting bashed. May be Karan is getting a bit more. All these years we never knew to what extent this nepotism is. We were always like his money his choice but now that we know people are voicing out. It's not just about Karan.

Female centric films can't be commercial films ?? According to you Raazi is niche and October , Sonchiriya are commercial??

A Judwa2 will always get the audience but a October wont.

Even in commercial films , action films tend to make more money . Love stories rarely work nowaydays. Tiger is a brilliant dancer but the movies which had him dancing , doing other stuff than regular action has bombed. A Agneepath will always be more commercially viable and get more audience than a Guzaarish. Sometimes its about the genres , the content.

This whole his own money thing needs to be reevaluated. If you work retail you treat your customers with respect because their business pays your bills. If you run a restaurant it's your choice of food you cook and your money you cook with but you take your diner's opinion seriously because again it is their money that keeps you around. So unless Karan's main source of money is some inheritance, I assume most of the money he invests is money he earns through his audience. Even when the money comes from investors it's money they spend to get something from the audience, which is us. Art shouldn't be controlled my the consumers. I do think an artist needs to have total freedom over his art. But I don't believe in the whole "HIS MONEY' thing. Yeah it's his money that he earned through us. It's his money that he won't be able to earn if we stopped watching his 100 reality shows and bad movies.He has a right over his art, we have a right to criticize what we spend our money on.

People are not just upset with him because he works with mainly star kids. People are mad at him because he is the bollywood status quo. For people he is the face of everything that is wrong in bollywood. Talents being sidelined and untalented people having movies lined up, award being bought, bollywood blinds, ugly PR, the whole idea you have somehow become bollywood elite if you make it to kwk couch. Some of it is not just his fault. So many others take part and maintain the toxic bollwyood culture. But thanks to Kangana he was made the face of it. And at times Karan and his teenager friends seemed so unapologetic or oblivious to the complaints people had, they even mocked it. So yeah that's why he is the poster child of this hate toward bollywood system.

I would have never watched SOTY if it started Anshuman. 👎🏼Rajkumar Rao would be OK.

Indian audience is extremely fickle. Middle class in clear example of this behavior.They want to discuss something during dinner time as people are bored with coronoavirus. The moment lives will go normal, everybody would sympathize with KJO and star kids. People will be apologetic and will watch star kids movies with full family. They would take selfies with movie display. This forum would be same too. Just wait for few months.
