I took the time to watch the promo now and although extremely predictable it was lovely and revealing at the same time.
To begin with sneha talking about Laila majnu and Heer ranjha. Such a young child is drawn to stories of unrequited love. The kind where lovers don't meet but live and die with each other. They may never be together, but their names are forever linked, they can never be linked with another. It's a very telling move to give this young child these dialogues and to begin with flashes of anupre together in the promo. A modern day, Laila majnu, Heer ranjha, Romeo and juliet. Who never meet but live for and die with each other. That is the sum and substance of kzk after all and it looks like that path has been decided.
Keeping with the theme of the ever flying dupatta, prerna's dupatta once again finds it way to anurag. It's easy to get irritated with the never ending saga of the dupatta but the fact is its an integral. Part of anupre and their story. For whatever reason, the laal dupatta has been chosen to signify their love. And prerna's dupatta once again reaches anurag, but more importantly this time through sneha. Sneha meets both her parents and gets something from both of them to protect her. First her mother protects her with her dupatta and then her father gives her a slightly more durable form of protection that he had. These two parents, who failed to protect their daughter 8 years ago, are doing their bit for an unknown child. Sneha has inherited a love for love stories, more specifically unrequited ones, from her mother. What has she inherited from her father? His practical nature, his punctuality? It will be interesting to see.
And in the final moments how telling is it to see anurag and prerna standing at 2 ends while sneha runs in between them with the dupatta, the symbol of their love? . For she is indeed that, their pyar ki nishaani.unke beech ki nahi si Kadi. Anupre are like the 2 banks of a river who will never meet. But their daughter is the bridge between them, who will forever keep them linked. What new kasautii will this child bring in her Maa and baba's life remains to be seen but this promo was as good as it gets and I'm soo excited to see snehas bonding with her mom and dad.
No words for the Montage. I've drooled enough I guess.
