RS fans can tell you this is wrong information in the very first line. Ramleela casting was being done in 2012 not 13. Pehle he did Shudh Desi...there was no Pani then . Bajirao case cud have had Paani as a hindrance as SLB said.

He was. Thats what SLB told the police as per one version. This was 2012. He was under the YRF contract but he had not done any yrf film then, forget doing three. SLB paid a royalty to a tune of 4 cr+ to YRF to get Sush for Ramleela but ultimately dint happen and talks fell through.

what about Bajirao, if I was in Sushant place and I saw the success of RL and was offered BM, I drop the contract, pay the penalties and immediately sign the movie

But then if doing ram leela means dropping out of SDR, I didn’t want that. If sushant had an opportunity to drop out of the contract after doing SDR then it would’ve been perfect

How would I know that??? Up untill yesterday I dint even know for sure that SLB had even offered him these two films. I was expecting SLB to go and tell the police that this is bullshit and I dint offer him anything. Technically I don't even understand that if SLB was ready to pay then why din't YRF release him?

SLB also cannot be blamed. He went to the extent of paying royalty too to get Sush for Ramleela as per him . Still YRF din't allow coz he had not shot any film for YRF back then. Then later Pani ka bahana.

There seems to be some confusion about whether ssr was signed to utv or yrf when the ramleela offer was made. Some say he wasnt even signed to yrf when slb was finding someone to cast for ramleela. Ranveer and deepika signed ramleela around June-july of 2012 as that's when they were spotted together, ssr was shooting for kai po che at that time

And if he was signed with yrf then they do have a contract where they must first do atleast one film with yrf before they can sign any other film. Ranveer did two films with yrf before he was allowed to sign anything else. Arjun did 3 back to back movies with yrf before he was allowed to sign 2 states, he did ishaqzaade, aurangzeb and gunday

But like I said before, this is the film business, and its cut throat and at many times unfair. Yrf does have contracts and the actors agree to sign the contract when they join yrf, yrf doesn’t hide anything from them. So that doesn’t make aditya chopra guilty of what has happened to sushant, aditya chopra is a business man and he will do what he feels is best for his production house, and sushant did leave bcause he wasn’t happy with the contract anymore, aditya chopra didn’t stop him from getting work anywhere else

sushant did get movies after leaving yrf and he had a big hit with ms dhoni, he got sonchiriya with a critically acclaimed director, he got chichore being directed by the dangal director nitesh tiwari, he got kedarnath with abhishek kapoor, all of these are good projects

My only gripe is why is Aditya scot free? Who is Mahesh to diagnose others and give out statements? These two need to be questioned.

Kjo tried to make Aditya replace Ranveer because he thought RS wasn’t good looking .

AdiC was adamant so Kjo relented. The movie did well .

Now KJo acts like he is bff with RS and vice versa.

Since AdiC was standing behind RS,Kjo couldn’t do jackshit . When there were negative blinds on RS then there would be counter blinds or his PR would refute immediately.

But SSR didn’t have that security. So people like Kjo saw him as a soft target. Everyone snickered and made faces when SSR’s name came.

When these things persist then people lose confidence.

It’s easier for people to say “be strong” to others when they haven’t gone through anything remotely debilitating. . Every person reacts to situations differently. Some are emotionally numb, some arrogant, some simple , some narcissistic etc.

I wish he stayed strong. I still have suspicious about this case and still waiting for the final investigation to be over.

I agree. Have always loved and respected SLB as a filmmaker. I like his interviews and believe him for the most part. Ranveer did full justice to all his roles. But if SSR would've got this chance things would've been drastically different.

I'm sure SLB would've thought SSR can pull off those movies, and maybe just like Dibakar even he thought that SSR was on the brink of breaking out into superstardom.

I hope the Mumbai Police releases proper details when they are done. Proper statements.
