We could have got a more better thriller had CVs not wasted time on MayRi and MayRa, and to be thinking of it, Mayra kiss was just a fan service, no offense to the fans here. If they do come up with a new season, they should really sort out the genre of the series, because an ambiguous genre only worked for Naamkaran and Naagin series, and no other revenge ITV drama

You pointed out a lot of interesting points. BH2's plot started out very promising, but due to a number of missed opportunities in exploring the characters, main or side.. and a disbalance in action and reaction, for whatever reasons (like the start was too Maya and less of MJ giving Maya a highly larger than life image, later on when MJ started acting, in the MJ-Maya faceoff Maya hardly reacted).. the story fell flat in a number of crucial points.
