Yes that part is completely a myth. Draupadi never kept her hairs untied, there wasn't any Such whimsical pledge/oath of hers

thank god for that. washing hair with blood is ewww. drinking blood also is. wonder why they spread such false myths

2 famous Panchali myths.

1. Krishna saved her. No, no, and a big NO! Text says her dharma saved her, aided a little by Vidura, Vikarna, and ARJUNA! Why do people forget Arjuna in this crucial scene?

2. She made that idiotic vow not to dress her hair until she washed it with Dushassana's blood. No! Her braided hair is mentioned TWICE after. Panchali never made any such silly vows.

There is no canon MBh version where Krishna saved Panchali, or she made that vow.

In fact, she stated bluntly to Krishna even he wasn't around when she needed help. He also said he would've been there if he knew... meaning, he didn't know.

Nor did she make any silly vows/curses.

The woman was so reliant on logic and karma, Yudhishtira called her an atheist. She mocked the heck out of him for blaming everything on destiny. THAT woman cursed someone? THAT woman relied on destiny as Star Mahabharata showed? THAT woman tied a silly protection bracelet around Abhimanyu's arm?

ETA: the annoyance is directed at the showmakers for turning a badass woman into a whiny idiot, not you. Just wanted to clarify.
