Neil’s mansion in Panvel, Mumbai

Neil got up in the morning and came out of his room. He saw Mickey coming in the house with Isha. “You had asked for her. She has come.” Mickey said as he stepped back so that Neil can see Isha. “Hello sweetheart, I know Mickey had already arranged for your job in one of our pubs but I want you to do something special for me. So I called you here.” Neil said as he took her hand in his hands. Isha felt like she was melting under his touch. Finally her dream was coming true. Neil Oberoi has called her himself and he wanted something special from her. Being a bar dancer and surrounded by men she knew what does that mean if any guy want something special from her but she controlled her racing heart and waited for his clarification. “Yes, anything for you. You just have to say it.” Isha flirted back. “I like this quality of yours. You directly come to the point. I want you to take care of my most precious thing.” Neil said and led her to upstairs towards Mini’s room. Isha smiled in excitement, “Looks like it’s not gonna be only one night stand. His most precious thing….maybe he is talking about his heart…..maybe he is interested in having a long term relationship with her.” Isha’s heart danced inside her chest.

Neil reached at the door of Mini’s room and asked Mickey and Isha to wait for sometime and he himself went inside room without even knocking and closed the door. Mini gasped at the sudden intrusion and quickly covered herself with the bathrobe as she tied it again. “What the hell? I was changing clothes. At least knock and show some manners.” Mini asked angrily. Neil checked her out from top to bottom. She was looking as fresh as morning dew in that ‘just out of the shower look’. Neil moved closer to her as he admired her beauty and that angry glare which she was giving him. He was now only inches away from her but she didn’t moved back and stood at her place confidently. “Move back, hide yourself or run away from me because if you kept looking at me like this…..jaan….I swear….I’ll f**k you till you can’t walk properly.” Neil breathed on her face.Mini intended to defy him but couldn’t control her wayward heart which expanded with excitement at his sexy warning. But she took a deep breath to put rein again on that treacherous heart of her.

“What do you want?” Mini asked averting her eyes. “Wear your clothes. I want you to meet someone.” Neil said and sat down on the chair. Mini waited for him to move out but when he didn’t move Mini sighed, “Get lost then.” She shouted. “Jaan…come on now, there is nothing to hide from me.” Neil said as he winked. Mini threw her hands up in frustration and went into the bathroom to change her clothes.When she came out Neil opened the door and Mickey and Isha stepped in.“Sweetheart, meet my lifeline, my jaan Mini. She is my most precious thing, the love of my life. And your job is to take care of her, follow her orders, do her biddings and also keep a watch on her as she is very naughty. She has a habit of running away from me.” Neil completed. Then he looked at Mini, “And you jaan, consider this girl as your friend, assistant, helper or maid whatever suits you.” Neil said as he put his hand on her shoulder.

Isha was shocked for few moments as her dreams shattered. She looked at Neil longingly and then at Mini. She couldn’t help but feel jealous. “What is so special about this girl? She looks very ordinary to me.” Isha thought. Neil snapped his fingers in front of Isha to bring her out of her thoughts. “I hope you get it what you have to do?” Neil asked. “No, I mean I get it but I am not willing to do it. I thought I you needed my services for yourself. I am here for you not for some random girl.” Isha replied in attitude. Before she could have reacted or understood anything she found Neil dangerously close to her and he was not looking happy. “What did you say? Random girl? My jaan is some random girl for you? Get this thing very clear, she is the most important person in my life. You will do this job if you love your life.” Neil said with gritted teeth. Isha gulped hard and nodded her head in yes.

Mini saw her mission failing. With this girl keeping watch on her always how will she pass on information to the police? “I don’t need any one.” Mini said to avoid Isha. “Nobody asked you jaan. So just shut up.” Neil retorted back. He clearly was still angry on that random girl comment. “Don’t shout at me in front of everyone ok.” Mini replied as she turned to the other side. “Look, what have you done? You spoiled my mood and I shouted at her. You made her upset. You ….” Neil pulled out his gun and pointed it at Isha. She shivered in fear as she prayed for her life. Mini turned back and saw what Neil was doing. “Stop it, will you? Stop scaring people like that.” Mini said and put his hand down. “First you agree to me.” Neil said. “Fine!” Mini replied. “Hey! Congrats, your life is saved and you got a new job.” Neil said as he shook hands with Isha while Isha kept looking at him and Mini in total shock. She cursed the moment she said yes for coming here.

Neil came to his room and Mickey followed him. “Dude, you think those two girls can bear each other? They were shooting daggers at each other and to add to that Isha is already fidaa on you.” Mickey laughed. “I know, that’s why I called her. Now she will keep an eye on Mini to impress me and also try to get my attention. Oh! my jaan will be so jealous seeing that.” Neil said with a wicked smile on his face. “You and your ideas.” Mickey sighed. “By the way, tell me how was your day at chawl? I forgot to ask you yesterday. Is everything fine there?” Mickey asked as he knew Neil was emotionally attached to that place and going there always takes a toll on him mentally and he becomes cranky. “Yeah, everything is fine. I wanted to spend some more time there but that message from Patnaik…..” Neil trailed off as the memories of past again started haunting him. “So, how will we answer him back?” Mickey asked. “Just give me sometime. I’ll figure out something. Right now I want to spend sometime alone.”Neil replied. Mickey left from there and Neil closed the door. He decided to take shower to calm his nerves but as soon as he stood in the shower he felt like emotions from his past were drenching him instead of water.

Flashback

Year1999

GanpatRao chawl, Byculla, Mumbai

Satya Oberoi came running in his house and closed the door quickly. Soumya and Neil looked at him. He was shivering with fear. Soumya knew that since few days all was not going well between management and workers union of textile mill in which her father was working. The workers were on strike and his father being the confidant of union leader shared his responsibility and worries too. He was in tension since many days now but never had he behaved like this. His shaking hands, sweat drops on his forehead, fear in his eyes were telling that something really bad has happened. Soumya ran to her father with a glass of water. “Baba, what happened?” she asked. “They….they killed him….they killed him…our union leader Prakash…..the management had called him for negotiation.Prakash told me that they have called him alone and he doesn’t trust them enough so he asked me to come with him but stay hidden and record their meeting on camera. As per our plan I was hiding and was recording everything when I saw that the management had called some goons to threaten Prakash. Soon an argument broke out between them and those goons started beating Prakash. One of them became so angry that he took out his gun and killed Prakash.” Satya narrated the whole story. Soumya and Neil were stunned by this.

“Baba, did anyone saw you there?” Neil asked coming out of shock first. “I was so shocked to witness the murder in front of my eyes that video camera fell from my hands and they saw me. They threatened me not to open my mouth in front of anyone but I didn’t agree, Prakash was like a brother to me. Then they tried to hurt me also but somehow I came running back here.” Satya replied. “Baba, Do you have video camera with you?”Soumya asked. “Yes, I have it. Everything is recorded in it.” Satya replied.“Baba, then I think we should go to the police with this proof.” Soumya suggested. “Police will not do anything. They are powerful people.” Neil said as he remembered how police favoured culprits in his mother’s accident case.“That time was different Neil. We had no direct evidence but now everything is recorded in this video camera. They cant deny this proof.” Soumya tried to convince. “Your sister is right. We should seek police’s help.” Satya said and all of them went to the police station.

The inspector saw the whole video in which culprits face was clearly visible. He saw the opportunity to earn money from the textile mill owner. He assured Oberoi family of arresting the culprits and took the evidence in his custody.He asked them to go back to their house. He also assured them of giving police protection. All of them were on their way back home when suddenly a van stopped in front of them and all three of them were pulled inside it. They were abducted by the same goons who killed union leader Prakash. “Leave us. What do you want from us?” Satya shouted. “Boss knew that being the satyawadi raja harishchandra you are, you will go to the police so he asked us to follow you and send you up to the god.” Their gang leader Pakiya replied and laughed evilly. “Police will not leave you and your bosses. I have given them evidence.” Satya said. “You fool. You think police will file case against us? Ab tak to boss ne us police inspector ko muh manga daam deke kharid bhi liya hoga aur usne evidence mitaa diya hoga.” Pakiya again laughed evilly seeing their shocked faces.

Van stopped at secluded place near the under construction building where their hideout was located. They pulled the Oberoi family out of the van. “Dekho, tum logo ki dushmani mujhse hai. Mere bachho ko chhod do please.” Satya pleaded seeing there is no escape from this situation. “Pehle tujhe toh upar pahucha de phir tere bachho ke bare mein sochenge.” Pakiya said and pointed his gun on Satya’s head. “No, leave my baba you b*****d.” Soumya cried and freed herself somehow from the goons hold. She ran towards Satya and tried to help him.Pakiya caught her by her hair, “Gaali deti hai. Tujhe toh main abhi sabak sikhata hoon. Waise bhi tere jaisa item roj roj kaha milta hai?” Pakiya said and dragged Soumya into the half built watchman’s cabin in building premises.“Leave my daughter please, kill me but leave her please.” Satya begged again. “You b*****d I will kill you. Leave my di.” Neil shouted in anger as he tried to free himself using all his might. He jerked his hand away and punched a man holding him and ran to save his sister but few other men caught him and pulled him down on the ground holding his neck. He and his father shouted and pleaded continuously. But Pakiya showed no mercy. They kept hearing the blood curdling screams of Soumya as Pakiya rap*d her. At the end they finally heard the gun shot as Pakiya ended her life.

Pakiya came out adjusting his clothes and pointed his gun at Satya. By that time Satya had given up fighting. He had already died when her daughter was tortured and now he didn’t want to live anymore. He didn’t even protested when Pakiya shot bullet in his head. Neil witnessed all this silently. He didn’t shout or cried for help. First his sister and now his father…both have died. He is all alone now in this world. His whole family ended in front of his eyes. He felt something has died inside him too. He couldn’t feel anything except rage, a blind rage engulfing him into its fire. “Boss, is ladke ka kya karna hai?”one of Pakiya’s men asked. “Iski behan ke sath maje karke aur ye khoon kharaba karke apun thak gaya yaar. Kahi jaakr daru party karte hain. Chhod de ise iske haal pe. Bachha hi to hai kya ukhaad lega?” Pakiya replied. His men kicked Neil and left him. They turned to go when Neil called Pakiya, “Galti kar raha hai. Maar de mujhe abhi. Kissa khatam kar nahi toh kal main tujhe maar dunga.” Neil replied as he looked challengingly in Pakiya’s eyes. “Abe dekho kya din aa gaye hain saala ek bachha Pakiya bhai ko dhamki deta hai……ja chhoda tujhe…dekhta hai main bhi kal kya karega tu….dikhana tere mein kitna dum hai.” Pakiya said walked away in attitude. Neil took his father and sister’s dead body somehow to the chawl and cremated them with the help of chawl people. He vowed by their death bed that he will kill Pakiya in as brutal way as possible.

Flashback ends

Neil heard the knock on the door and came out of the bathroom wrapping towel around his waist. “Mini wants to go out. So I came to ask if its ok to let her go?” Isha asked as she checked him out from top to bottom. “No, not for few days.”Neil replied nonchalantly. “But she wanted few things. How will she have it if she will not go out?” Isha desperately tried to continue conversation with him so that she can ogle his bare upper body for some more time. “Then for what purpose I have hired you? You go and get things for her.” Neil said and glared at her signaling her that he is not interested right now in any conversation. Isha understood it will not be safe to bore him right now. She turned around to go but slipped on the door mat. She was about to fall down when Neil caught her. “Ishaaa!” she saw Mini was calling her and coming in their direction. She leaned more on Neil and hid her face in his chest pretending to get hurt. Mini came there saw Isha and Neil together. Neil was only in towel and Isha was in his arms.

Before she could have stopped herself she blurted out, “What the hell is going on here? Now I understood Neil Oberoi why you have called this girl here. You don’t care about me you want her for yourself.” Mini said with gritted teeth. Isha still didn’t make any attempt to stand straight and a wicked smile crept on her lips as she arched her eyebrow at Mini. Neil saw the jealousy in Mini’s eyes and smiled mischievously. “So, why its bothering you? You claim you don’t love me anymore. So you shouldn’t have any problem if I spend some time with any girl.”Neil smirked at her. His words hit Mini like a harsh reality. Her brain tried to reason with logic and reminded her of her mission while her heart burned with jealousy and provoked her to slap this Isha right now. She saw that naughty smile on his face and understood that he is deliberately trying to make her jealous. But her heart was aching from inside and wanted to throw this girl away from him right now. Neil noticed a flicker of pain crossed through Mini’s eyes and he decided to took pity on her. He pulled his arms suddenly from Isha due to which she fell down on ground.

“Aaaahhh!” Isha cried as she rubbed her back. A small smile graced Mini’s lips as she saw Isha lying on the floor. “Stand up and get out from here. I have kept the list on the table. Get me my things.” Mini ordered like a boss and Isha had no option other than to go. Neil laughed at Mini’s attitude. Mini also turned to go but Neil pulled her inside the room. She bumped into his bare chest. Mini looked at him. His hair was wet and water was dripping from them on his broad shoulders. She looked up and found him intensely looking at her. She was enchanted by his charm and her hands on their own found their place on his waist and her head leaned on his shoulder. She closed her eyes as she realized that she dearly missed his embrace and his fragrance which was now creating havoc in her senses. Her warm breath on his neck was tantalizing. Neil hugged her back more tightly. “You love me jaan. Stop fighting your feelings. You know I lost my family long ago. Then you came into my life. You don’t know how I felt when I thought you died. I went through hell. Now that you have return, please stop fighting. I know you must have been in pain too. Let your guard down. Let me soothe your pain.” Neil said as he cupped her face.

For few moments Mini forgot everything. “I want you.” Neil said and leaned down to kiss her when Mickey came excitedly barging in the room.“Sorry to disturb you two but I got a very valuable information.” Mickey said and turned away embarrassed at the situation. “What and about whom?” Neil asked as he parted from Mini. Mini turned around to go but stopped when she heard Mickey’s words. “About arms consignment of Anna. Patnaik is gearing up for fight. He has brought a large consignment of latest guns and explosive from Russian mafia and wants to smuggle it here in Mumbai through water passage. Anna is helping him. The consignment will reach tomorrow night at 12 on Anna’s dockyard. Patnaik still has to settle account with Russian mafia. If we destroy his consignment it will cause him huge losses and Russian mafia will be after him also.” Mickey completed.

“That’s a really good news. Time to show Patnaik whose the boss.” Neil said. Mini came out of Neil’s room and immediately grabbed her shopping bags which Preet has given her. She found a mobile in there with sim card and a small smart phone type device. She remembered her training sessions. This device had to be attached with the mobile before making the call so that no one will be able to trace the call. She quickly set up the phone and took a deep breath as her heart started beating fast. She dialed Hanuman’s number. “Hello, Mini. How are you? Is everything fine?” Hanuman Singh asked desperately. “Yes, everything fine. I have an information.” Mini said and shared with Hanuman whatever she heard in Neil’s room. “Ok, take care bye.” Hanuman Singh cut the call and got busy in making plans for tomorrow. Mini quickly kept everything in its place and kept it in a plastic bag. She hid it in toilet flush tank. She remembered the moments in Neil’s room and how she was about to lose herself in a weak moment. She mentally slapped herself for doing so and reminded herself of her revenge plan.
