But of Krishna's wives, whoever self-immolated did so in Indraprastha after the crowning of Vajra. Three of Krishna's wives didn't - Satyabhama, Satya and Lakshmanaa. Those 3 took sanyas. And the other 16,100 wives drowned themselves in the Saraswati river

I read that the eight wives all immolated themselves.

But whatever happened to them, I do recollect reading in MB that the 16,100 wives were kidnapped by the Nishada hunters and Arjuna was unable to save them as his Gandiva failed him, and he realized that the Gandiva was useless without Krishna's support. These 16,100 wives (who were wives in name only as Krishna never had physical relations with them) were married by Krishna to uphold their honor after being kidnapped by Narakasura, but after Krishna's "death", they no longer owed loyalty to him.

In skand puran in bhavishya puran it is written that samba has intimicay with junior wives of Lord krishna and one of wife of junior wives of Lord krishna, she in drunkard state become nandini and embrace samb

There was improper relationship between samb and junior wives of Lord krishna

So Lord krishna curse samb that he will have leprosy and lord krishna curse his junior wives to kidnap by robber

It is mentioned in skand puran, bhavishya puran that Lord krishna curse samba to suffer from leprosy though after request of samba and jambvati , Lord krishna tell samba to do Surya pooja and after Surya pooja samba cured from leprosy

. Once narad went to dwarika to meet Lord krishna . Samb didn't not pay attention to narad. So narad get angry that samb disrespect him

So narad gave alcohol to junior wives( other than ahshtbharya of Lord krishna) and junior wives of Lord krishna drank so much alcohol that they lose their control that junior wives of Lord krishna and samb has Illegemate relationship with each other

So Lord krishna get angry that samb will suffer from leprosy and also Lord krishna curse his junior wives that his junior wives will kidnap by robber after dissapearnce of Lord krishna

Though Lord krishna cursing samba due to leprosy is not mention in shreemaddh bhagwat

I don't think Samb was his favourite. Samb was not a kind of person, Krishnaji would love.

Lord krishna did all duties of family without getting personally attach to anyone . He is yogeshwar and he has no particular favorite in his family

In fact Lord krishna never killed anyone or full will wish of anyone because of his personal love or personal hatred

He treated every one equally . Yes he become kaal to those who don't follow dharm marg instead adopted adharm marg and protector of weak people and do full fill wish of people if wish of people is really not going to harm anyone

Though Lord krishna said ruknmini was dearest to him among all wives because ruknmini even did not see Lord krishna. She heard only Lord krishna pastimes only by hearing Lord krishna past time rukmini fell in love with Lord krishna and wanted to marry him though rukmini never saw Lord krishna until kidnap her

But inspite of rukmini being dearest to him he never ignore anyone in his family

In night Lord krishna use to expand himself in 16108 forms and with his 16108 forms he perform his family duties with every one simultaneously

Actually kans was powerful but he did not use his power for good cause. He misuse his power

He want to rule earth by killing innocent people with the help of his demon friend

He also says that after killing krishna. I will kill vasudev and devki and then I will kill my father ugrsen then I will king of other region with help of my friends and rule earth

So this was evil intention of kans which doesn't not match with his father ugrsen

Father ugrsen was against his son kans demonic nature . He protest his son kans and support his son in law vasudev and niece ( bhatiji) devki

Since there is clash between kans and ugrsen so there are two parties

One party is of kans and kans have their own soldiers kans was powerful so most of soldiers join kans side

Second party is of ugrsen who have own soldiers

Ugrsen party and kans party are against each other as their policy doesn't not match

Ugrsen soldiers did try to fight kans soldiers but kans party was more powerful and they defeated ugrsen soldiers

And ugrsen loose his army strength so he was not able to go against kans and he was helpless and kans able to put him in prison and acquired father throne by force
