Now that we are into this discussion, could you guys let me know what to take of Kans and that 8th kid prophecy/Akashwani?

Why did a loving brother Kans become so cruel after Devaki's marriage

Kamsa was Salva raj's illegitimate child with Ugrasena's wife. Vasudev's son with Devaki might have been a contender for the throne as the child would be Ugrasena's bloodline.

Krishna sent Akrura as emissary to possibly form an alliance with Pandavas. He threatened the Kauravas. Kunti doesn't seem to have responded or the Pandavas.

This, I believe, was after Pandavas completed their education. So if KMG is right, Bheema had already been to Balram's gada academy.

Kunti didn't seek Yadava help, either.

Then, Pandavas supposedly died in lac house. Krishna went to funeral but got diverted by Satyajit's murder. Balram accused Krishna of murder and left for Mithila.

Suyodhana took this opportunity to go to Mithila and formed an alliance with Balram.

So we have Yadavas needing help. Kunti ignoring. Kunti needing help but choosing to go it alone Pandavas faking death. Suyodhana offering alliance to Balram who takes it. After all, Suyodhana was likely forced to fight for Jarasandh while Kunti and Pandavas ignored Krishna's plea for help.

Krishna's presence at Panchali swayamvar was probably because of this. They couldn't have a direct alliance with Pandavas because of whatever grudge Kunti seemed to have against them. But she was willing to accept Panchali, and Panchali came with a living dowry 😆.

Kunti had problems with vasudev , soorsen but never had problems with krishna , subhadra who were children of vasudev coz krishna kept on helping Pandavas , even helped them financially , subhadra did brought dowry.

She can forgive drishrastra , Gandhari but not her brother .

She very strange lady , no wonder never liked her specially what she done with karn

Afterward, what was Kunti supposed to do?

She didn't need the help till the time Vasudev was capable of doing things, she was a princess of Kuntibhoj and then the queen of Hastinapur, both a higher designation than the daughter of a Yadav group(which as of now wasn't even in power), she needed help help after Pandu decided to repent, but by then Vasudev was already imprisoned, how was he supposed to help her?? If that was her expectations, its really unrealistic

She could have declared about the son thing when the kids were small or around the time of Rangbhumi.

What she did is definitely understandable but not very ideal.

Aside why did she declare that he was her son after the war is something I don't understand. Some demons are better hidden below the ground

Asur was a term given to any loser. Kamsa's bio daddy was Salva's daddy. Same Salva who came to attack Krishna during dice hall.

That is the only part of Kunti's actions with re: Karna I don't get.

2 possibilities: 1) guilt 2) she was taunting Yudhishtira
