Gully Boy was not really hyped for its box office. It was nothing great in that sense. It was hyped because the music became really popular (Apna Time Ayega was a rage) and then finally India choosing it as the Oscar entry. I wasn't a fan of the movie itself but I still thought it was better than Dreamgirl and Chhichhore.

I have seen many people actually writing that they din't know Dreamgirl and Chhichhore made more money than Gullyboy which is sad.

Yes Sushant's PR dint do a lot of things. Dint even bunk the filth that was thrown his way. Now its all over.

What this really means is the audience enjoyed 9/12 films of hers, the others were trash so they flopped. This is not her receiving the audience love, it's her movies which received the audience love. She could not save her crappy films with her so-called stardom, without a good film, Alia can't survive.

So you mean to say 8.75 Cr Tickets were sold, that much no. of ppl went to see those films & not Alia Bhatt =)) 🤣

- Her 5th Highest Grosser in INDIA

- 2nd Biggest Opener in INDIA

- 2nd Biggest Grosser in OVERSEAS

From past 2 pages, Kalank is big failure of Alia only as per you, now when shown figures, "Nahi Nahi", it is Multi starcast, even giving what I said as example =)) 🤣

Yes.. many young people age between 20 - 30 are crazy about her. I think that's why others are jealous.
