Part 54 - We Are Married Now
Recap- In the last part armaan told riddhima that he does not want to call his child an illegitimate so they are getting married. In which sujal says how he can remarry then armaan revealed he never got married which leaves riddhima shocked. Riddhima thinks he is married to Maya. What is reality?
She was again lost in her own thoughts, how this can be possible? Her mind keeps on asking this question from the time she heard from his mouth that he is unmarried. And her heart is bleeding with every passing second, all her sacrifice is wasted. Because she can never doubt his words she knows if he says that he is unmarried that is the truth only. But how is this possible? She was not able to understand. She feels that her brain is going to blast at any moment. Only then they heard knock on the door and kashish who was finding something for her to wear answered the door. It was none other than armaan.
Ka:” Han armaan.”
Ar:” Vo main agar meri princess ne milk pi liya hain tou main use lene aya hun.”
He said not peeking inside asking standing on the door only.
Kashish nodded her head to him
Ka:” Umm one minute main armaan main riddhima se puchti hu.”
She said and then she looked towards her riddhima nodded her head in yes then she got upholding her.
Ri:” Kashish hum bahar chalte hain guddu will be comfortable here. This room is warm for her.”
She said to her as she knows he won’t tolerate her presence here right at this point. Kashish understands the gravity of the situation so she agrees and opens the door for Armaan who is listening to everything. As armaan enters inside he moves directly towards her and riddhima gets the cue and she handles him guddu. She gives him one glance how she wants to stay there only with both of them. But she knows this is not possible right now. She was leaving the room when suddenly she remembers something
Ri:” Vo na princess ne feed lekar burp nahin liya hain please use letana mat. Rub her back and make her burp burp.”
She told him as she instructed him about her princess’s burping thing. Armaan looked at her not saying anything and she left from there with kashish. Riddhima knows he is not at all going to answer her. As riddhima goes from there armaan slowly starts rubbing the back of her baby as she snuggled closer to his chest.
Ar:” Meri pyari si baby ka tummy fill ho gaya. Chalo now mera pyara sa baby burp lega.”
He speaks to his little one as the baby feels the warmth of his papa. She snuggled closer to her papa. Soon she takes burp making armaan smile then armaan pecked her forehead
Ar:” Arey vah yeh hui na mere pyare baby valu baat.”
As he kissed her she scrunched her nose making armaan smile wide.
Ar:” Acha ji apko bhi gudgudi hui kya apni mumma jaise.”
He himself does not know when the words escaped from his mouth about her. Of course riddhima always does that when he pecks her forehead when she used to snuggle in his chest. As soon he remembers his words his smile fades away. And his heart asks only question
Ar:” Why riddhima kyun kiya tumne aisa, tumne mera sabse khoobsurat safar mujhse dur kar diya. Main tumhe kabhi maf nahin kar paunga.”
His heart bleeds thinking about all this and then his princess’s yawn draws his attention. So he cooed her in his chest swooning in his arms
Ar:” Ok ok sorry baby apko ninni ayi hain I guess chaliye papa apko sula dete hain.”
He rocked her in his arms as he found her yawning a bit.
After a few minutes with armaan’s lullabies, the princess went to sleep and armaan put her to her bed placing pillows around her. He thought to check on Sujal as now he cant take any chance and he just can not delay anymore to take her back to her world. Everybody is waiting and longing for her. Fine what she did was wrong but she can not punish everyone else her parents and her parents who loved her. Now when he found her after so many months he will not let this happen at all. Thinking about this he moved outside. As armaan reaches outside he finds her crying in sujal’s arms while kashish is sitting there. His heart cries seeing her crying no matter what happens he still loves her and her pain makes him hurt too.
Su:” Bas kar riddhima kitna royegi tu. Dekh tere rone se sab thek nahin honein vala. Sab thek karne ke liye humein sach janana zaruri hai. Aur tere ronein se teri tabiyat hi kharab hogi aur kuch nahin hoga.”
Ka:” Han riddhima sujal thek keh rahein hain. Apni health ko kyun kharab kar rahi hai tu. C- section hua hain tera itna stress legi tou pata hai na tujhe stitches par effect ayega. Aur jo ho gaya hai use badal nahin sakte.
Armaan heard both of them making her understand. He got to know that she had a c- section and he was not there with her. But who is responsible for it herself. Being a doctor he knows she needs rest at this point. Her body must be weak with the surgery. He hates the fact but he still cares and loves her so he can not let her harm like this. So when he finds her not listening to them he intervened
Ar:” Kabhi tou kisi ki bat man liya karo riddhima. Yeh donow tou pichle 10 mahino se tumhare sath hain so obviously tumhare well wisher hain tou sun lo. Humare jaise thode hain yeh tou tumse pyar karte hain. Aur ab atleast aur kisi ka na sahi tou meri beti ka hi soch lo. Is position mein jab ma hain tou bacha bhi thek nahin rahega. Vo bhi pareshan hi rahegi. Aage tumhari marzi kyunki tum zayda samjhdar ho.”
He said, looking at her, making her numb to the core with his deep hurt voice. She can see that hurt and care on his face for her and her heart breaks. She just wipes her tears listening to him least she can do after hurting her that much.
Seeing her armaan turned to sujal
Ar:” Sujal I hope you listened to my request and please just bring the registrar we would just register our marriage nothing else.”
He said and before sujal can say anything
Ka:” Par armaan proper shadi.”
But he cuts her in between
Ar;” Nahin kashish vo sapna tou kab ka tut gaya ab tou bas yeh hain ki guddu ko koi kuch na kahe aur guddu Aariama Armaan Mallik ho.”
He said and then giving a distant look to riddhima he moves inside the room.
Riddhima’s eyes filled with tears again when she heard those words. Sujal hugged as he knows this was deeply hurting her friend.
Ri:” Pata hain sujal sab kitne khush the armaan kitne khush the unke bahut se sapne the humari shadi ke liye. Vo tou sagai par hi na jane kitne khush the. Kitne armaan aur humari sagai ke har pal ko unhone kitna khoobsurat bana diya tha.”
She said as she lost in the day just before her engagement.
Flashback
Srishti and vedant leaves from there as they need to make arrangements for her going home.
An:” Vaise na armaan tu bada ajeeb hain. Vaise tou kehta hain riddhima se itna pyar karta hai aur ab uski engagement hain utna special din aur use new dress bhi lene se mana kar diya hain had hain.”
She complained him and before armaan can answer riddhima butted in
Ri:” Anjie yar.”
She try to side him but anjali is anjali how someone can stop her so
An:” Chup kar tu khud tou tune kehna nahin hain mujhe tou bolne de. Kitna sundar dress us din pasand kari thi tune jab muski ki engagement dress choose karne gaye the. Tab tou keh rahi thi apni sagai par pehnugi. Ab at least is se puchne tou de ise objection kya hain sab sajte hain.”
Mu:” Bilkul sahi kaha anjie ne aur hero ideally na teri taraf se hona chahiye uski sagai ka joda.”
Ni:” Aur tune khud tou kya dena tha use bhi lene se mana kar diya.”
Both nikita and muskaan added as they joined them. Armaan smiled hearing her friends questions. Ideally riddhima needs to ask him these questions but of course being riddhima the sweetest one how she will questions, his one no and she will give in. He knows her. And now seeing him smiling muskaan slapped his arm
Mu:” Hero yeh na had hoti hain hum tujhe kuch puch rahein hain koi answer dene ki bajaye tu aise khoton ki tarah hansi ja raha hain.”
Ri:” Muskaan yar chodo na is bat ko mere pas itni dresses hain kuch bhi pehen lungi. Tum log kyun bat ko khinch rahi ho.”
She speaks and tries to end the topic if he does not want to answer then let it be.
Ni:” Humein pata hain tujhe yehi sahi lagega par tujhe janana ho ya na ho humein janana hain. Yeh kya ajeeb si bat hui.”
An:” Han armaan you have to answer tu bata hum kuch nahin bolenge.”
Armaan smiles that they have such wonderful friends.
Ar:” Well iska answer tumhe aaj sham ko mil jayega. Sham ko riddhima ke ghar thek 8 baje ab tab tak no questions please.”
He said making everyone surprised, even riddhima too. As what armaan is saying she does not have any idea about it too.
Mu:” Hero par.”
But armaan stuffed her open mouth with the pizza slice
Ar:” Now you girls enjoy your meal I have to go meri opd hain. Bye jaan love you.”
He said getting up, taking his lab coat and planting a peck on riddhima’s cheek making her blush. Armaan left from there muskaan turns to riddhima
Mu:” Oye riddhima kya hain iska matlab tere ghar sham ko?”
Ri:” Pata nahin yar muski mujhe bhi tum logon ke sath hi pata chala hain.”
She said as she is clueless like them only and hearing her they know Riddhima is speaking the truth as she never lies.
Ni:” Chal koi na sham ko pata chal hi jayega.”
An:” Han vaise tum log yahan?”
Mu:” Are yar mat puch ik syapa pad gaya hain. Rahul ki mummyji koi astrologer ke pas gayi thi humari shaadi ke muhurat ko lekar. Ab pata nahin usne mummyji ko keh diya hain ki vo next week shadi karne bol rahi hain.”
She said making them shocked
Ri:” Kya par bahut jaldi nahin ho jayega?”
Mu:” Han yar tabhi tou mere papa ji mummy ji gaye hain unde bat karne.”
An:” Chal tu tension mat le uncle aunty delh lenge.”
Ni:” Han yar isliye yeh tension mein thi subh se tou hum yahan aa gaye socha yeh thodi si relax ho jayegi.”
Ri:” Chalo acha kiya chod muski soch mat jo hoga acha hoga. Abhi chal yeh samose kha tere favourites hain.”
An:” Han muski don’t worry everything will be fine.”
Muskaan nodded to her friends as they cheered her up and then they had their snacks.
Riddhima is free from her work and thinking of going home. She was thinking to ask armaan if he would drop her.
Ri:” Armaan se puchti hun agar free ho gaye hain tou main unhi ke sath chali jaungi.”
She called him as armaan picks up
Ar:” Hanji madam.”
He speaks up as soon he picked up the call,riddhima smiled
Ri:” Armaan vo main puch rahi thi aap free ho gaye tou mujhe ghar drop kar denge.”
Ar:” Nahin riddhima nujhe abhi one hour aur lagega vedant srishti ko chodne gaya hain. So opd abhi finish nahin hui. tum anjie ke sath nikal jao.”
He answered her as he is busy and riddhima can sense that he is busy as he does not come to have lunch with them.
Ri:” Its ok armaan main apka wait kar leti hun.”
Armaan was expecting this so he
Ar:” Nahin jaana please ap jao aur rest karo. Subh bhi aap jaldi aa gayi thi. Aur kal bhi shift hain remember srishti nahin hain yahan.”
He said as he knows she must be tired but riddhima being riddhima
Ri:” Armaan main sachi mein tired nahin hun.”
Ar:” Riddhima please meri bat man lo na aur vaise bhi 8 baje I am meeting you na.”
He said and riddhima remembers about the evening meeting.
Ri:” Ok armaan.”
Ar:” Yeh hui na meri jaan vali bat chaliye madam ab muskurayiye aur bande ko kam karne dijiye.”
He said making her smile wide
Ar:” Oye hoye I love you meri jaan.”
Ri:” I love you too armaan.”
And they both hung up with beautiful smiles adoring their faces.
Riddhima then left with anjali as her duty to get over. After reaching home texting armaan that she had reached home, riddhima went to her mom who is busy with tomorrow’s preparations.
Sa:” Aa gaya meri bachi aj kafi tired lag rahi hain. Tu baith teri coffee banvati hun. Sheila riddhima ki coffee lana aur sath mein iske pancake bhi.”
She ordered the helper as she settled on the couch with riddhima.
Ri:” Mom ho gaya apka kam.”
She asked as she looked around the house for decorations.
Sa:”Almost beta. Sab ready ho gaya hain decorations subh tak ho jayengi. Acha riddhima sun coffee pikar mujhe zara help kar tou beta.”
Ri:” Kya mumma bolo na.”
Riddhima asked her as she gets her coffee mug.
Sa:” Beta vo sham ko armaan aa raha hain akshara aur naitik ke sath tou khane vagarah ka kya banau. Vaise tou cook hain hi isliye bata de help kar na snacks aur khana decide karne mein.”
As because of riddhima’s engagement preparations, Cook is already in Gupta mansion for 3-4 days as all of Riddhima's friends are coming to stay over. Next day guests must be coming so they appoint cook in advance only. Riddhima knows about armaan coming but not about akshara and naitik coming
Ri:” Kya mumma akshara bhabhi aur naitik bhayiya bhi aa rahein hain.”
Sa:” Han kyun tujhe nahin pata tha?”
Samriti asked her as she gives her pancake plate and riddhima nods in no
Ri:” Armaan ka pata tha par unka nahin.”
Sa:” Chal chod ab tu meri help kar main soch rahi thi 4 snacks ho jayenge kaun kaun se bata?”
Riddhima starts thinking about this as if they are coming and food arrangements should be there.
Ri:” Mumma kuch option tou do aise kya batau?”
She said as she did not figured what to make and samriti smiled then handled her menu
Sa:” Yeh le ismein decide kar le.”
Riddhima smiled at her and then helping her mumma sorting the food menu and finishing her coffee she came to her room as per mumma’s order. She insisted on helping her but she ordered her to sleep to rest.
Coming to her room, Riddhima was still thinking about them coming.
Ri:” Armaan bhayiya bhabhi ke sath aa rahein hain. Kamal hain mujhe kuch bataya bhi nahin. Batati hun is bar inko main. Mujhse batein abhi se chupane lage hain. Had hain.”
She thought to herself and then changed in some loose pjs she laid to bed. She actually drifted to sleep as she was very tired.
Riddhima wakes up with the shrill sound of her phone. She was a bit disoriented due to deep slumber and finding her phone in sleep she answered the call. It was armaan
Ar:” Riddhima.”
Ri:” Umm ji armaan.”
She answered still in her sleep, armaan gets the cue that she is sleeping with her sleepy voice.
Ar:” Tum so rahi ho? Sorry baby maine tumhe disturb kiya tum rest karo. I will call you later.”
He said and was about to cut the call when riddhima stopped him
Ri:” Umm nahin armaan ap phone mat rakhiye main bas uthne hi vali thi.”
She said while sitting up and armaan smiled at her.
Ar:” Are yar maine tou aise hi call kiya tha tum please so jao hum aaram se bat karte hain bad mein.”
Ri:” Tch na armaan main keh fahi hun na ki main bas uthne hi lagi thi so please.”
She said while yawning a bit
Ar:” Par riddhima.”
Ri:” Armaan please ab main uth hi gayi hun tou hum bat kar len please. Kya bekar mein argument kiye ja rahein hain aap?”
She said in non please tone well now when she awake and her sleep is disturbed, now they should talk rather than arguing. And armaan can sense she is getting irritated now.
Ar:” Ok ok sorry baba.”
Ri:” Hmm.”
Ar:” Vaise tum kya kar rahi thi oops sorry so rahi thi wrong question.”
Ri:” Oh ho armaan kya hain apko? Acha chodiye ap aa gaye sanjeevani se ya abhi bhi vahin hain?”
She asked and armaan chuckled hearing her irritated yet cute tone.
Ar:” Nahin main ghar par hun aur well main tumhe isiliye call kar raha tha. Mujhe na kuch samajh nahin aa raha hain.”
He said while scratching his head
Ri:” Kis bare mein kya hua?”
She asked now she is fully awake
Ar:” Are yar abhi thodi der mein tumhare ghar ana hain na tou samajh nahin aa raha hain kya pehnu?”
He answered as he went through his wardrobe. Riddhima smiled at his cute complaint he sometimes behaves like a big child.
Ar:” Aab yar tum muskurati rahogi ya meri help bhi karogi? Vaise na you completely spoiled me mera na ab tumhare bina koi kam nahin hota hain.”
He said as he complained and riddhima laughed at his innocent complaints.
Ar:” Acha bachu badi hansi aa rahi hain tumhe tou main batata hun ruko zara abhi kuch der mein vahan aakar.”
Ri:” Vaise na armaan yeh bat mujhe apse kehni chahiye.”
She said as she reminded him that he does not tell his plans of coming to her house.
Ar:” Kya matlab?”
Ri:” Matlab yeh ki aaj kal ap mujhse bahut batein chupate hain. Apne mujhe nahin bataya ki ap bhayiya aur bhabhi sath aa rahein hain ghar par.”
She complained to him
Ar:” Oh vo kyunki that was a surprise for you baby.”
He answered casually and riddhima gets more irritated with his casual tone.
Ri:” Ok fine surprise tou maine nahin pucha. Par ap apni visit ka bata sakte the. I am not taking this excuse aur han main apse naraz hun. So please don’t talk to me.”
Ar:” Riddhima tum yeh ainvey hi.”
Ri:” Acha ji ainvey hi bye main phone rakh rahi hun aur ap chahe tou vo apni white shirt ke upar blue blazer with blue jeans pehen sakte hain.”
She cuts him in between and then helping him with his outfit she cuts the call not giving him a chance to speak up.
Armaan was surprised with the turn of events, he does not expect she will get angry.
Ri:” Had hain armaan ki meri narazgi lagti nahin inko main bhi bat nahin karungi inse.”
She told herself then her room door opened and she found Anjali coming in.
An:” Oye kya hua tu abhi tak tayar nahin hui?”
She said coming in as she saw her still in the bed.
Ri:” Han yar bas uth rahi thi. Tired thi aankh lag gayi bas abhi uth kr ho jaungi tayar. Anjie mere liye kuch nikal de yar pehnane ko.”
She said while getting up from the bed tying her hair
An:” Han main nikal deti hun tu fresh ho ja.”
Ri:” Thank u love you.”
An:” Chal badi ayi thank you vali ja jaldi nahin tou hero aaj pehle pahunch jayega tere tayar honein se.”
Ri:” Han ja rahin hun acha sun muski ka koi call aya kuch decide hua.”
She asked as she remembered about muskaan’s marriage fiasco.
An:” Nahin par nikki keh rahi thi rat tak pata chal jayega abhi raste mein hain vo aa rahi hain yahin.”
Ri:” Chal hope for the best.”
An:” Han ab tu ja yar badi ma ayengi tou tere sath mujhe bhi daant milegi.”
Ri:” Han yar going.”
She said as she went to the washroom while Anjali took out clothes for her.
Riddhima comes back after getting freshen up till then Anjal has chosen her clothes. Seeing the blue gotta patti suit she is surprised because it is a heavier one.
Ri:” Anjie yar tune kuch zayda heavy ni choose kar liya. I mean thoda.”
But she is cut in between as anjali speaks up seeing her face
An:” Ji nahin koi heavy nahin hain normal semi formal hain. Aur madam thoda sa tou aisa semi formal pehen, armaan ki family aa rahi hain.”
Ri:” Par yar vo mujhe koi dekhne thode na aa rahein hain.”
Riddhima being riddhima argued with her and anjal knows her friend
An:” Ridzi please mera tere se argue karne ka energy nahin hain. Aaj ke occasion aur kal teri engagement hain so this is perfect for you. Aur nahin pehnana hain tou main choti ma ko bol deti hun.”
She said and riddhima gulpes she knows her mumma will surely make her wear some more part wear. And she surely is going to have another round of lecture for her not behaving properly like would be brides.She definitely not wanting this so
Ri:” Ok fine I am wearing this.”
She pouted while agreeing to it and anjali smiles knowing this is going to work.
An:” Good girl chalo nod get ready. Armaan ata hi hoga he is punctual.”
She said and riddhima nodded and then she quickly changed into the dress Anjali selected.
Both of them getting ready comes out in the lobby when the doorbell rings indicates Armaan is his family here.
Present
The shrill sound of the doorbell brings everyone back to reality. Sujal detangles riddhima from himself
Su:” Main dekhta hun.”
He said as he got up to answer the doorbell. Riddhima quickly wiped her tears. As sujal opens the door he finds Mr. Mehra at the door
Su:” Are Mr. Mehra ap aa gaye please come inside. “
Mr. Mehra:” Yes Mr. Grewal apnein bulaya tha tou ana tou tha hi. Par ap please jaldi se jinki shadi karano hain unhein bulayiye kyunki court band honein mein sirf 2 hours hai main jaldi se aj hi shadi register kara dunga.”
He was a lawyer whom sujal has called for riddhima and armaan’s court wedding.
Su:” Han ap ayiye andar main bulata hun aur thank u apnein itni pain li.”
Mr. Mehra:” Its ok Mr. Grewal vaise tou ghar par aise allowed nahin hain par kyunki judge saheb apke khas dosr hain tou vo man gaye ab please jaldi kijiye.”
Su:” Yea sure ap baithye coffee lijiye main bulata hun.”
As the lawyer settled down and sujal orders for his coffee. Then he turns towards riddhima
Su:” Riddhima I know this is very tough and confusing. But at this moment this is good for all three of you.”
Sujal says while caressing her hairs riddhima nods knowing he is telling the truth.
Su:”Kashish tum hi armaan ko bulao mujhse tou bahut khafa hain. Riddhima please tab tak tum bhi change kar lo.”
He said kashish nods and then she left with riddhima.
As kashish helps riddhima in getting ready then she went to call armaan. She knocks on the door before entering and finds armaan is sitting beside the princess's cot and doing something on his phone. Seeing her entering
Ar:” Han kashish bolo.”
Ka:” Armaan vo lawyer aa gaye hain tumhari aur riddhima ki shadi ke liye.”
As kashish informed him he nodded his head and
Ar:” Hmm tum chalo kashish main abhi aya.”
He said and kashish left after giving a small nod to him.
After a few minutes, Armaan comes outside with the princess wrapped in his arms. As armaan comes, sujal nods to kashish and she goes to check on riddhima. Soon riddhima too comes with sujal as armaan hears the footsteps he looked at her. He does not want to but his heart cheated on him. There she is coming with kashish wearing a simple red-orange saree. Some bangles one chain around her neck small earrings. Nothing was making her look like a bride, but she is still looking the most gorgeous woman for him. He hates to admit that he still loves her and right now her after motherhood glow is enhancing her beauty too much. What he thinks about this day and thus day actually came but like this, he never thought off. With his thoughts, he never knew riddhima came and sit beside him. Riddhima knows what he is going through, the same is going inside her too. They have so many dreams for this day but she spoiled it. They come back to reality with the voice of the lawyer
Mr.Mehra:” Ap donow yahan sign kar dijiye.”
He shows them the paper and then both of them sign the papers. And then he makes kashish and sujal sign as the witnesses. Then he leaves saying
Mr.Mehra:” Sujal ji abhi kuch der mein apko marriage certificate mil jayega main chalta hun.”
Su:” Thank you.”
Then kashish forwards armaan vermilion box and before armaan can say anything
Ka:” Armaan rasam nahin hain yeh sirf iska bahut mol hota hain. Aaj chahe tumhari nazar mein bemol hain par guddu ki mumma ke liye.”
Ar:” Kashish main kabhi koi rasam nahin bhula na bhulunga. Bas mayne badal gaye hain kal tak yeh mere pyar meri patni ke liye hota aj yeh sirf meri Aariama ki mumma ke liye hain.”
“ Manglam Bhagwan Vishnu
Manglam Garud Dhawaj
Manglam Kundli Kakshye
Manglam Tano Hari.”
He said as he filled riddhima’s hairs with the sindoor. Then giving aariama to sujal he gets something from his pocket. Before anyone can understand anything, Riddhima's neck is gracefully covered with black thread Mangalsutra. And feeling that around her neck Mangalsutra her heart clenched with pain. Their eyes met, and they just told one thing to another “We Are Married Now.”
