Kabir Singh had literally no positive press around it and it became a blockbuster. Ppl shit on the awards too coz shahid didn’t win. Did a similar reaction happen when. Sushant didn’t win for msd and Aamir won for dangal?

I disagree.I think for myself and no award shows or praises from insiders can make me think well of an actor if i don't find them capable myself.So i don't get this manufacturing consent thing.

Anyway you are taking digs at alia again.We were talking about sara sushant in kedarnaath.What is unfathomable to me is that you just ignored one of the main leads and his acting in the movie because the other appeared in a talk show??

I didn’t ignore anyone acting. I don’t actively comment on acting here in his threads. I was praising Sara more there due to her intelligence and articulation. Kedarnath just happened to release around the same time. And yes it works to create buzz there have been studies done. Your denying to have the Nepo mafia take any blame.

That because they could tell the insiders that gave her that Merly Streep comment were deliberately trying to overhype someone mediocre. Kabir Singh deserved the negative press because it’s a misogynistic film. Those who thought Shahid deserved to win I have no comments.

People def didn’t say MSD success didn’t deserve to be solely accredited to MS Dhoni !

ppl can see through negative press and continue to like someone/ something like I said happened with kabir singh...also happened with the likes of Salman and Sanjay Dutt who maintained their fans And following despite being jailed, and committing crimes.

So why are ppl claiming that not having enough pr caused them to not show their “love” for sushanth?
