Also, being poor doesn't necessarily equates being unhappy just like being rich doesn't mean being happy, loved and healthy.

Its not about being happy or unhappy.. the debate at the moment was about struggles

Not all middle class people hate poorer section, they certainly don't hate higher section too, maybe they're a bit jealous of someone's luck but those kind of feelings end there for most people irrespective of class in society. None has such time to hate others for just being born over or beneath themselves, period!!

I deal and meet with every type of person you can imagine in your life. My work involves understanding people and speaking with them accordingly.

Jealousy and hate are part of human nature. You can read this in many psychology journals.

Do not get emotionally involved with everyone. This is the mistake last time I did on IF. You can see my profile. Now I do not care about anyone here. I am here for time-pass.

Even if true, who in their right minds would say it out loud at a time like this? People are outraged at the struggles outsiders have to go through and Sonam's justification is that its all karma?

She isn't an hypocrite at least.

Your "even if it's true" and "she shouldn't say it out loud" bothers me more because it reads as if you aknownledge that she's right but it should stay behind closed door.

I would have understood your reaction more if you had say it stuff from the past and people shouldnt take it literally yada yada...

And I think Sonam said it about people bein nasty while telling her she was the nasty one to SSR when it's an almost 10 yo video of KWK which resurfaced.

I don't think she means it in the way that it's because of theit karma that miserable people are miserable. It's more about if she's happy then she deserved it thanks to her past actions.

Also Sonam is very much into that kind of stuff so it doesn't surprise me she'll find strength in religion when it feels people are all turning against her for WHO she IS and nor what she DID.

Sonam's parents clearly forgot to educate her. Cause she ain't a fully functioning human being.

Cause fully functioning human beings have that thing called empathy and sensitivity which she clearly lacks. Go ask Sonam to be educated before you personally attack someone here

Now shoo.

Sonam's parents educated her as per her capacity of learning. She will mature with time.

Not everybody has empathy and sympathy. Read some psychology journals.

I am someone who hates Sonam, but I am sorry some arguments are so blinded by emotions. Its amusing for me.

Stop being so emotional in life.

I am not going any where

I'm a commoner who doesn't follow celebs lives, neither instagram nor twitter but yes, this tragedy did effect people like me too.

Ok ok got it Miss emotional fan.

No.. I don't acknowledge that she is right.. Even if its true implies that even if for a moment I consider that this is what her religion states, there is a time and place for everything.. Its not about being politically correct but about being sensitive

I already defended Sonam (not my best memory) for that old video so I will let that be

My parents did the best for me and I acknowledge that. But never will I think I have some good karma because of which I was born to them. Its sheer luck. Crediting something like this to karma is just ignorance. Its basically telling those who arent well off that its because of their karma. That's entitlement

Nobody says that star kids dont deserve their comfort or their parents are wrong for giving them the best. You're missing the entire point here.

I personally hate the 'I deserve it all' attitude. And to me, Sonam is full of only that. Hope I've made myself clear.

@Bold- Horrible statement btw. Pathetic.

The rich will always have this sense of entitlement. I have met and heard some super rich and successful who are considered philanthropic and kind by middle class. They are the worse human beings with the biggest egos to exist on the earth.

Middle class generally hates someone beneath them and hates someone better than them. This is shown and used in advertisements to target middle class. See some advertisement psychology too.

Love it! We have so many mind readers and SSR fans from the first hour here.

People are so attentionate too. They think nothing of someone getting death and rape threats on their personal feed, they are so logical that they stress the point that SSR was bullied and in a dark place and at the same place will push someone to harm themselves or even commit suicide.

She didn't know SSR personnaly so what people want her to do ? She couldn't have written an heartfelt message as she didn't know him and she wasn't a fan of his either. But Harsh did posts on SSR and what did people write in the comment section ? Abuses !

Damned if do and damned if you don't.

You all should deal with your own guilt for ignoring SSR and mocking him on social media.

You were also praising Sara to the sky for her debut in Kerdarnath and overlooked SSR. You were also the ones falling over yourselves over Sara's -PR generated- persona because she was supposedly so real and relatable.

Deal with your own guilt people and stop harassing others.

People should stop festering the Internet with negativity and let his family -who are normal people- to mourn in peace imo. They'll talk when they'll need to.

*I'm genuinely asking, why are people shocked about what she said about her karma ? Isn't it what Hinduism and reincarnation is about ? Be good and you'll be rewarded in your next life ?

You said it. 👏

Can I give you a hug and a kiss.🤗

People here are extremely immature. If feel most of them still their rosy glasses on. Life has not slapped them hard yet.

Ignore them and have fun.

That's the problem with the way the world is nowadays. People think their is a time and place for religious when GOD is everywhere and it's religion that helped forge the world.

What did she do that was insensitive ? Nothing. That's what she did.

Sonam always post about her family so it wasn't her being direspectful to SSR and some people with their heart in the right place might have seen this as someone realising how lucky she feels having her family and their support.

When she posted about ex-gf, family etc being blamed it was more of a foresight than anything because people were already demanding his exes, friends react on SM, also some implied his family should have been more careful and then cue the storm of hate on industry kids and producers and all based on speculations.

There is an investigation going on so why don't people wait for it instead of harassing others ? Maybe if they took out the teaching of their religions (Hindu, Muslim, Christians...) they would behave better.
