I am reading a lot in this lockdown. I am just glad that I am out of my slump.

I am rereading Harry Potter and just finished upto the Order of The Phoenix. Also, finished Lock Every Door and Final Girls by Riley Sager and The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware.

I am in such a romance mood nowadays that I reread my all time favourite, The Hating Game by Sally Thorne. I read The Wallflower Wager by Tessa Dare and The Player Next Door by K.A. Tucker.

Also, finished reading My Dark Vanessa by Kate E Russell and The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman.

P.S. Has anyone else read The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes? It ended up being a huge disappointment for me!

Wow, that’s great! You have managed to read quite a lot.
Have you read The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren and It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover? They are also good.

How were the two Riley Sager books you read?

I have read The Unhoneymooners and it ended up being such a fun romance. Enemies to lovers is my favourite trope in romance and it was done very well.

I haven't read It Ends With Us. It's on my radar; though I have only read Verity by Colleen Hoover. I had loved it! Have you read Verity?

I don't really get the hype around Riley Sager. I gave Lock Every Door 3.5 stars and Final Girls 3 stars! His plots are okay. I still have one more book left which I will try and his new book is coming out this month, isn't it? It sounds intriguing.

Not the person you were asking but I wanted to talk about how great It ends with us was. I often wondered why women stayed with their partners after what theyve been put through. This book was an eye opener for me. I really liked it.

Even though I really enjoyed The Unhoneymooners I haven’t picked up any other book by Christina Lauren. Also, I think I picked up the best book of theirs first so reading any of their other books is taking a step down.

It Ends With Us is fantastic and a must-read. I read Verity and Regretting You both this year. Verity was very good while Regretting You was a decent read. I’ve read most of Colleen Hoover’s books and liked November 9, Maybe Someday and Without Merit at the time I read them. Now it might be different since everyone’s taste in romance evolves with time.

I’ve heard so much about Riley Sager in the past few months that I’ve been intending to get to his books at the earliest. Now that you say he is overrated, I might read the other books I’ve been meaning to read and leave his books for later.

It really was an amazing book. I read it around the time it came out and once again this year. It stood the test of time which I don’t think applies to Colleen Hoover’s other books.
