His 2nd movie Main Tera Hero opens at 5.5 Cr in 2300 something screens & he gets declared as the new IT massy star claims are made by Trade ppl that its the highest opening for 2nd outing of any newcomer completely neglecting the FACT that an year a certain Sushant Singh Rajput's Shuddh Desi Romance opened at 6.3 Cr in 1600 screens, no hype nada, the trade takes ages to declare a Dil dhadakne do, Mubarakan or October a Flop and never really does openly but a Kedarnath is termed as SSR's Flop with occupancy reports though when actual opening numbers come out which are actually decent the narrative is again changed quickly and it becomes Sara Ali Khan's super successful debut....

Its not just about the Fact that somebody as below avg as Alia Bhatt signs films specifically curated for her with tailor made roles or are lobbied/arm twisted by Kjo or Reshma it might just be 1 or 2 releases annually out of 250 odd films but its also about the fact that this corrupted a$$holish power structure makes sure ki those are the only 1or 2 releases which will garner all the hype, awards, brands, phoney statements by "veterans".

Yeah their Films flops Kjo can't buy all tickets for beti, but the glaring difference lies in the FACT that her Shaandaar gets declared a BO & Critical Disaster the next thing Dharma does is arm twist & announces a Heroine Centric Dear Zindagi Starring Alia Bhatt directed by Gauri Shinde with King Khan as her sidekick.

While a SSR's highly acclaimed Detective Byomkesh Bakshi Flops, from Paani to Chanda mama, get shelved Dharma's Drive which was promised to be Ryan Gosling's brilliant Drive's remake a Holi release is turned into god knows what, latkaoed for years and dumped on Netflix

His Murlikant pedkar biopic gets shelved coz there are too many army biopics being made esp by Kjo's cronies, while a talentless hack super Flop Sid Malhotra can retain a Vikram Batra biopic but Sushant coming from Kedarnath and a 160 Cr BB Chichore has to let go his films.

So yeah ppl should STOP blaming just Nepotism bcoz its a combination of Nepotism, Cronyism, Groupism, Favouritism, Lobbying, Snatching brands projects, Maligning image, Exclusion and worst of all creating hoax projects to chock-block an extremely promising self made young star's dates.

Hit the ball out of the stadium! Brilliantly said but frankly it'll be lost on those who's whole purpose is protecting their favorites without looking at the bigger picture or caring for such issues that may have taken a young man's life!

I understand and agree that no one kill him and ultimately, it was his choice to end it all. But are we forgetting that he was suffering and all of their antics, manipulations and calculated tactics mentioned above contributed to the depression of an innocent man who was here just to achieve his dreams and ambitions without any malicious intent. I’m not going to explain what clinical depression is or how it works, but Words and actions have power as well as consequences, people need to realise that.

This tragic incident is a wake up call for many, and people are fighting so that something changes for the better for the future sushants.

I thought that was rkisnothot. There are a few others who give off distinct vibes of spokespeople of the mean-girl clique of Bollywood. Lots of excuses on why the vicious and entitled brats shouldn't be blamed. OTOH, vocab, grammar, punctuation, etc. seem better than I'd expect from shallow and uneducated dumbasses who think their cattiness is actually wit, so could be PR peeps also.
