Lobbying is a serious issue and should be addressed, Abhay Deol may be B grade or C grade, doesn't matter, if he feels he underwent an experience that played unfairly, he has every right to express his side of it.

So did the actress who shared her experience and the writer who shared his.

I looked it up. I think it was for No One Killed Jessica. That year, Vidya was nominated in the lead for Kahaani. There was no way she wasn't going to get the award because that movie was a big critical and commercial hit. If they had stuck Rani in lead actress, they wouldn't have been able to give her an award over Vidya.

So they stuck her in Supporting and made her the winner. Filmfare played a political game in order to favor her. It ended up being really unfair for the other supporting actresses because her role was so much bigger and better than theirs so obviously she would win.

But Rani got pissed because she wanted the lead actor award and didn't want to be called supporting. If I remember correctly, Jitesh even made some sly comments about Rani because she refused to attend and pick up the award because she was mad.

They should have just put in Lead where she belonged and not given her any award and given the supporting award to someone else.

But SSR did get a nomination for MS Dhoni.. unless I am mistaken.. the award went to Dangal Amir that year if I am not wrong
