It would be a delight to see their banter. They have a wonderful equation, even now. To think, what might happen when they actually fall for each other....

That's what the title card has been saying. We will see once we check hotstar tomorrow morning.
Deepti spoke of a son, yes, but she couldn't have known. That's illegal. Not saying that it has to be true, but the makers can use her pregnancy for Gunja, if they wish. That can work quite well.
Yes, the writing is so good. So good. Tight, mysterious, with properly developed characters.
Yes, Dhruba was so carefree in the flashback. Deepti's situation has changed him big time. And I love, LOVE Deepti. Such a bright soul and her smile toh... ❤️ I also love how the scene gave us plenty of insight as to what went on at Choudhuri Bari and that Deepti lied to her family whenever they asked about it.
Another thing. Deepti was pregnant when she was kicked out of Choudhuri Bari. Dhruba was still in a hostel. He wasn't married back then. Now, there is no proper time frame for Deepti's disappearance. We know that Agni left the family fifteen years before the story starts, but he doesn't know about Deepti leaving. While that can be interpreted as it happened after Agni left, Agni never asked about Kakimoni. Tara didn't mention her either, until Saikat brought it up. Can it be that all that happened before Agni left, but the kids were too young to understand what was happening?
Also, Dhruba is younger than Saikat. That makes him.. Quite young, when compared to Shekhar. I had imagined he would be older than Saikat, but this works. Maybe that is a reason why Shekhar failed to recognise Dhruba even when he had a hunch that he had seen Dhruba somewhere. The last he had seen Dhruba, Dhruba had been a young man. Just a thought. This show keeps me wondering about odd things, which is good. I love the writing of this show.
There is a lot of mystery in this show.. We have so many characters that are intriguing. There's Tara's dad for one. He has surely been released from the jail but where's he? And who is keeping him away from Tara?
And now this saikat-deepti angle..
But you're right about the pregnancy thing.. She could have a feeling but there was no way she could have known that she's having a boy. The young, carefree Dhrubo taking in his sister's daughter and raising her as his own.. The very idea just makes me go soft for him. I say the show should release 2 episodes per day because the curiosity is legit killing me.
Even I was confused for a while 😂
If you ask me, they have high chances of being equals, where Dhruba will relinquish his tight reign, for her, and she would still be the feisty Tara we have seen. And of course, when she falls in love with him, she will spoil him with her love and affection.
Yes.. He has been built up as this tough guy so I'd rather see an equal relationship than him being her gulaam. And I want angst please. I want him to pine for her and her to pine for him before she can spoil him rotten with her love

So true, the amount of curiosity I have for this show.. It's a rare feeling. We don't find shows with a story like this, not in the Bengali serial circuit. Loving the plot.
Yes, Shambhu!! Where is he? Can't wait for his reaction to Tara's marriage, and his side of the story.
What had happened with Tubri?
And the Deepti Saikat angle is so mysterious!
A young Dhruba clinging to his sister's baby and raising her as his own... The mental image makes me so emotional. And, he had to build his business from the ground up, balancing work and family. As his mother and Ranja have already pointed out, it has been a long while since he did something for himself.

ALL THE ANGST!
Let them pine, let them doubt each other's feelings, let him feel guilty about the circumstances surrounding their marriage..... And then, and only then, let them be soft with each other, all the while being treated as equals. Often, we see the husband becoming a JKG and I don't want that. I want him to be soft with her, because he is a softie at heart, but I want him to be his own person, and I want Tara to give him the space to take his decisions regarding the family and the business. They will work together.

@bold.. You're so right! Bengali shows don't do mystery well. But this show has so much mystery that it is becoming unbearable. I'm really looking forward to the resolution of the tubri mystery. I had thought it was Agni's mama.. But then Ashish doesn't seem capable of murder. That can all change. But it'd be so good if it was Agni you know who accidentally locked the cupboard. The irony would be so awesome. But it's too dark, no?

So many subplots, and they have been handling it quite well.
I too, had thought that it would be Ashish. He seemed oddly satisfied at the twist of events, and was seen laughing when Manju spoke of the event. So I thought he did it, and then shifted the blame to Tara's father.
But Ashish looks pretty tame. Although he had provoked Agni and was hoping Agni would start a fire and was pretty relaxed about Agni dying.
Agni being responsible would be a pretty dark twist, but an interesting one for sure. The irony! His entire perception of Tara was changed, drastically, by that event. If it turns out that he had been the one...ouch.
Also, I think it is pretty weird that although Shekhar wasn't present in the scene, he wasn't even home that day, but he knows the truth, if his monologues about his sins are anything to go by. Maybe Shambhu told him.
But why did he hide the truth?
Who could it be?
I don't think it is Deepti, Shekhar had no motive to hide the truth had she been responsible for that. And the time line is fuzzy as it is. Was it Kakai, perhaps?
Why would Shekhar protect the culprits?

Yass, please! I want to see them pine. I want to see them go through all stages. CVs, don't disappoint us!

@bold- Exactly!
Reading your analysis has made my suspicions of Agni being the one all the more strong. Shekhar wanting to protect his son seems like a legitimate motivation. But if it was anyone else, would he have been so willing to send an innocent man to jail? And if he was, what kind of person does that make him? Surely not the pure soul Tara thinks him to be..
