Which is true.

Didn’t say Anything abt him buyllying ppl and that being ok? Where’d u get that from?

Because my friend 😆, focusing on a minor part and ignoring the bigger crime is a common tactic used by propagandists. So calling it out and the umpteen other excuses put forth.

Privilege is something that we have to accept as part of life...we are more privilidged than a lot of people...And a lot of people will be more privilidged than us.
we have had education that a lot can’t afford. It’s easier for us to get a job than some

Similarly someone born into a stinking rich family will probably never need to see financial struggle in their life , something that is huge burden for the rest of us ....some get success early in their 20s some get it late in 40s or even 60s again, something we have to accept.

Call out the mean tactics and sabotage sure. Bad press again go for it. Maligning someone’s image of course that’s bad. And again, if this is indeed what someone did they deserve to be called out.

But don’t make it a reason to hate on someone because they are born into a certain privilidged family.
Or that they “get things easily” ...I got into college easily coz my dad was ok to pay for it. My friend worked for 2 years and then got into college. she dosent hate me and I don’t hate her.

I agree with you.

I had students in my college who needed scholarship even to buy a pen and there were some who used mercedes and audi as personal cars.

Hating the rich is the main argument of the left group. In India left was dominant till start of 1990s. It will take a long time to change this mindset.

It leaves the person feeling drained and rejected. Sushant was rejected because he didn't have any godfathers or godmothers in the industry. It's as simple as that. His being and intellectual among these school dropouts, is another topic for discussion.

They didn't want an OUTSIDER to shine or be a Superstar. That privilege is reserved only for the Nepo Kids. If Amitabh Bacchan, SRK, and Akshay Kumar were trying to be actors in today's Industry. they too would have met the same fate.

We had nepotism back then too, but not to this extent. Remember Yash Chopra offered a negative role to SRK he never planned to take him as the main lead. It was just by SRK's luck it worked for him.

yep and then he cast srk and srk only. Not irfan khan, not Salman, not Aamir , not saif ...he just worked with srk till his last film . Why? Coz he can

If he called up others to tell them “why don’t u cast srk instead of blah” that’s wrong sure...coz that’s none of his business

If he reales press articles about “hey sunny deol is a prick nobody wants to cast him” that’s wrong as well coz again, none of his business

If he said “hey don’t cast saif” to other producers that’s also none of his business

but his business yrf is indeed his own business which he can invest and work on as he pleases. With the people he pleases. That aspect can not be refuted...

What you guys do is pick on easy targets when there are so many bigger things that are wrong in the world.

This reminds me of how twitter warriors boycott movies to teach lessons to actors giving their opinions but how they twisted and did cartwheels to excuse Microsoft and Google when their CEO's gave their opinions they didn't like. All because they obviously can't boycott their products or quit their jobs. Convenient boycotts and convenient activism.

Some retailers and kirana deserve loss. They are rude towards customers who are not so rich. Vegetable vendors who were over charging on everything went through losses.

If Reliance suffered a setback and was on the verge of failing, the government would save it and they would use the small guy's tax funds to do it too. Just the same way the US keeps saving automobile companies and banks because allowing them to fail is not an option.

People like Karan Johar are not answerable to anyone, least of all you and me. He is a private person who uses his private funds to make whatever movie he wants. He can hire his nieces and nephews and neighbor's best friend's uncle's kid if he wants. Who are you to tell him anything? If you don't want to watch the movie, don't watch it. What are all these entitled demands that he has to give movies to people like Sushant or other outsiders who want a cushy high paying career? Why do you care if he did auditions for Alia or not? It's not your business.

Again missing the point. It's not about who he takes in to his movies.

Its about manipulating the industry and snatch and block all big projects. Openly bullying and insulting outsiders. Controling media and industry to only push his people offering deals. I am very surprised you dont find any problem with that. Kept avoiding the real problem with him.

But my awesome friend ....who ignored it? In fact we say discuss that even more so...justifying meaningless trolls on aalia being called “zinda kaise ho Tum ab tak” as being “deserving of it” is not an argument anybody’s gonna win...it’s unnecessary hate - period.

Agree, hatred just coz they are privileged is wrong, I know I am angry at them because they being privileged is not the issue, they being that and looking down on less privileged is the issue, they snatching away projects based on their whims and fancies coz they are privileged is my issue, they mocking, ridiculing "lesser mortals" as per their dictionary is my problem. They refusing to validate a talent outside their camp is my issue.

I have questions and pretty sure many who are outraged do have the same issue and have the same questions.

This is a corrupt system and KJO and Alia are the face of it, also their "hypocritical" tweet inflamed it more.

He dosent have to or isn’t obligated to.

Here's the thing- you don't actually know if any of those things are true. That's just a belief you have in your head. It's based on faith but no actual proof.

Tell me how he is controlling the media? How is he bullying outsiders? Then we can get to the root of the problem. You have to have concrete reasons and not just take shots in the dark.

I have seen a vast majority of tone deaf and ironical comments from the very people that are opposing bollywood. So many people are saying the situation in bollywood is same as what reservation is for general category students. I mean seriously??? after so many decades of oppression towards Dalit people, these so called upper caste people are calling for abolishing the safety net of Dalit people and when there is also reservation for the general category students. The sheer irony!!

Vast majority of suicides in IITs and other big institutions involve dalit people. they feel ostracized and as outsiders in such environment. But, it seems the people have no introspection and fail to show the empathy to their dalit colleagues and employees. They need to practice what they preach in their everyday lives.
