What will that achieve? If India boycotts Chinese products, it will affect India more than it would affect China. China's exports to India are a miniscule 2%, same as their trade with Netherlands, which is a small country, so stopping trade with India will not be such a big blow for them.
But it will definitely have a huge effect on India since China is its no.1 source of imports. It depends heavily on them for electronics, pharma and other manufactured goods. India simply doesn't have the capacity to manufacture at that level. Make in India has never really taken off. So India will have to find another trading partner in the interim, so it can be Korea or some other country. But even then, none of these other countries can ramp up their capacity to meet India's huge demand the way China can in a short span of time.
"Ban Chinese products" is such a simplisitic and facile solution IMO. It's good for rhetoric, but the economic costs don't add up, especially when our economy has already slowed down drastically (pre-Covid) and is fast heading into recession.
