Nobody can do that and Shradda proved it. She left and got other movies right away after YRF made her famous. Sushant also got movies after leaving YRF. Doesn't change the fact that the biggest production house in India once gave them movies and a multiple-movie contract to boot.

Adi just isn't that skilled a godfather as Karan is so his push doesn't help as much as Karan helped Alia. But nowadays people act like anything even slightly less than Alia automatically means you were treated badly.

Vaani dint leave and suffered . Sushant lost out on two precious years and suffered . Lost out on movie offers . Shraddha was being forced...what for?? Kjo gets all the flak but Adi Chopra has for real ruined more careers than people notice .

Vaani wasn't an insider like Shradda. Shraddha knew she was going to be taken care of no matter what so she had the guts to say bye to Aditya Chopra. Vaani made her own choice to stay.. and honestly who was going to give Vaani a chance with that face of hers other than Aditya? She was such a bad actress in Shudh Desi Romance. She's lucky Adi still kept betting on her. Last I saw, she appeared in a blockbuster. Now she has another huge movie coming up with Ranbir.

Forced in which way? She signed a multiple movie contract herself. When she didn't like what it entailed, she left.

Just admit you guys like Shraddha so you will make twisted excuses for her privileges. Or that you think you can only be considered privileged if you get help in the manner Alia does. Or that it's just random. You don't like Ananya so she didn't earn on her own. You like Shraddha so she is self-made now. I've seen all this same ish with poor darling Sara Ali Khan too so I'm used to it.

bold not true.... Sk's first movie was teen patti which was not a yrf venture. In which she plays a side character. What on earth does it change? India's biggest production house was instrumental in her career. She was so privileged that she could kick an offer like Aurangzeb from a huge producer and go do something else. Star kids always have that inner confidence because they know they will get many chances from other places. She was right and did.

Getting slightly less help than Alia doesn't mean you were self-made or that the world was beating down on you and ruining your life and career.

I love shraddha but it's wrong to say she survived primarily on her own. No she did not. She got ashiqui 2 despite 2 flops because of being a star kid and thats okay. It's their choice whoever they want to cast and shraddha did well. Yea she has not been handed a platter like alia but nonetheless, she did have more support than she would have had she been an outsider.

One cant just cry about nepotism and then defend shradhha just because you like her. Nepotism itself isnt the problem, problem is not giving equal opportunities.

Her face she looked gorgeous in sdr far better then alia and acted decent too far better than any ananya sara or jhanvi but yes she doesn't have God fathers like these said girls so she stuck doing 3 movies in 7 years.

People’s real reason for praising her here isn’t she is completely self-made. It’s because she has had the courage to stand up to big wig bullies like Kjo and Aditya. That and her being 100% self-made are two distinct arguments!
