I was active on this forum when there were crazy Aish fans who would send very aggressive PMs to people who said anything against her. That put alot of people off.

Honestly I love her screen presence. With the right role and direction she can pull out subtle but powerful performances. Of course she has her limitations but her roles such as in JA Umrao Jaan Choker Bali Raincoat HDDCS Devdas just have me only watching her. Not for her beauty but for her GRACE AND ELEGANCE. Nobody has matched that onscreen for a while now.

Much of what people dislike about her is what they project on her. Many times people fill in the gaps where she's chosen to remain silent etc and she does have a v guarded persona off screen. But given how much she was hounded at one point i don't blame her.

Her winning line is her sassiness. In koffee with karan "my name is not khan" was just too cool.
