She was given a shit role in SOTY2; KJo used her as a token outsider in SOTY2 to curb the nepotism debate during promotions. Anyone who gives Tara grief for her role and say just how much better Ananya was in it, should sit for a while and think about the kind of disgusting game KJo and his cronies played during the film's promotion. From the promos I thought the two girls will have equally important roles, but in actuality, they gave Tara a bitchy one-note character and Ananya a sympathetic character so that the audience ends up liking the latter more. It doesn't matter who out of the two turns out to be a star in the long run, its just sad to see the treatment outsiders get from the beginning in comparison to star kids.

Tara is probably very much aware of all this that I mentioned above, but she knows well not to bite the hand that fed her, and will continue to be mum about the entire thing because opening her mouth would mean being ostracized from BW circles forever.

PS- I know this is probably not the right time to raise these issues, but since she was brought up in this thread, I just had to.

@Bold This! But anyways that's a whole different topic, let's just hope people become less toxic now and learn to be kinder.

Like in any other profession, outsiders in Bollywood always found that networking and getting people to like you was the key to getting more work. SRK,Akshay Kumar,Jackie Shroff et al survived for a huge part because of the personal equations they built up.Talented and good looking people are dime a dozen in Bollywood. But how many of them survived over the years?It certainly used to be easier in the past. I think the game has become a lot dirtier since the PR agencies started gaining more influence and the advent of the social media. Fake relationships and blinds have become a part of life. The audience have lost much of their autonomy and are easily led these days.
