I feel bad that draupadi had to loose her sons in all this and also many innocents their lives. She was the one who was not at fault in all this yet has to loose everything.

Draupadi is not a very great or good mother , infact she dint played any strong role in her son's lives apart from giving birth 2 them . I m not blaming her for d exile part which happened after dice game.

Prativindhya Yudi's son was born in kampilya , Pandavas spent one whole year in panchal after wedding with Draupadi . She left prativindhya in panchal only , now people will only blame pandavas & sympathies with Draupadi .Well Draupadi is not someone who use 2 take order from others nor a woman who can forced into something.

As Pandavas were not established that's why draupadi & Pandavas dint took prativindhya to Hastinapur , this part is acceptable but it took almost 5 yrs to build indraprastha after that she could have call prativindhya from kampilya , but no it was arjun who brought prativindhya during rajasuya yagna. It is said Yudi ruled indraprastha for 23 yrs before dice game , in b/w arjun went for exile for 12 yrs after coming from his exile later he went for his campaign for rajasuya yagna , Draupadi gave birth 2 other upandavas during these 12 yrs only arjun's son from Draupadi was born after return of arjun from his exile.

No doubt Draupadi is a great wife & queen but she is not a very good mother.

Later upandavas were nurtured by subhadra in dwarka when Draupadi & Pandavas were in exile.

A dharma raj yudhishthira use 2 stake thousands of female maid in his dice game during his rule in indraprastha even he was ok with slavery , that 2 full knowledge of Draupadi, she never tried to stop him .

My mothers says Draupadi & Pandavas were not as ideal as they r projected in tv serials but still they were better than kauravs in many ways.

Slavery was very much an accepted norm. Slaves were as much a part of the property as jewels. They was a status symbol, fun elements, punching bags etc. Why would Yudhishtir or anyone has any issues with slavery?

Gambling wasn't a crime either. It was a fun task

There is no reason why Yudhishtir or Draupadi should have objections to it

But staking the freedom of a independent woman, a wife just for the addiction of gambling is something which wasnt acceptable

About being Better. Well I wouldn't say about the below four, but Yudhishtir was in no Better to Kauravas

Arjun once says that Yudhishtir has caused so many lives in danger in the war and he himself is spending his time in the chamber to enjoy

Untrue. The first Panchali heard about the human staking was when Pratikami went to her. In fact, one of the things Bheema says in dice hall is "we don't even stake dancing girls, and here you staked your wife."

If you simply mean they had slaves... yes, they did. Just like Krishna who donated slave girls on wedding of Arjuna and Subhadra.

I honestly don't understand your antipathy toward Panchali. She was an awesome force by all accounts, a role model. Also, being an Arjuna-Subhadra shipper as you clearly are is fine, but why throw false accusations at a woman who is not here to defend herself? Putting it like that only because you say you believe in divine interp.

If it is any consolation to you, Panchali really did not seem to have cared that much for Arjuna after the initial liking which was probably because she was young and naive. There is in fact a retelling called Parva (by Bhyrappa) where Panchali says Arjuna was the crush of a young girl while Bheema is the love of a grown woman who knows what she wants.

So yeah... Subhadra probably had Arjuna to herself since Panchali didn't seem to give a d**n.
