I read the interview today that Sushant gave during Dhoni promotions. He was talking about his mother's death. She called one night at 11:30 PM crying. Sushant was studying engineering in Delhi at the time. She asked him to take some time out to visit her. He refused and said that he will come during Holi which was a couple of months away. The next day he received the news that his mother is no more. Sushant has carried that guilt since then. He didnt say so but I bet he thought that if he had agreed to meet his mom in that call she would still be alive. He also mentioned that he never cried when his mother died. This level guilt is huge to deal with that too by a young man. It wasn't his fault but he still felt guilty. He has said that he is changed person since his mother died and he has never felt the same since that day.

He also said that nothing makes him very happy. He has been battling this demon since a long time. Stop assigning blame to one person. Mental health is very complicated. There is no straightforward reason for something like this.

Sushant actually eventually dropped out of engineering shortly after that. I remember Sushant participated in Zara Nachke Dikha 2 in his earlier days (during KDMHMD days) where his group dedicated a whole dance performance for his mother and he broke down. I felt really bad. I deal with depression myself. It is a struggle but I'm fortunate enough to be living with my family and parents. When you are depressed, living in isolation can make it so much more worse. Why was he living alone when so many people were aware of his depression?!.Especially during this pandemic when you can't really do much to divert your mind.

Let me say this. Suicide is often looked at as a cowardly step and I see many people asking "why did you do this" or "this is not the way out". This is not the way to respond. Suicide is not an easy decision. Imagine being so broken and feeling so lonely that you feel there is nothing worth living for. You go to the extent of harming your longest companion, your own body. That is dark and you require someone to be there with you or check on you. It can be hard to love someone who suffers from depression because at times, they will not be the most pleasant individual. Not because they want to be that way but because they are suffering so much that they don't know how and where to channel their emotions. I speak from experience. I'm just shocked that people were aware of the fact that Sushant was suffering from depression and seeking counselling and on meds and still allowed him to live alone. A trigger only takes a fleet second.

I don't know about the others but SRK definitely did invite Sushant to parties at Mannat. There are pics of both Sushant and Ankita attending in the past.

Industry parties are important because there's where people will discuss work and possibly new upcoming roles but honestly, how can anyone be blamed for not giving party invitations? People invite who they are friendly with or have a connection to. It's not a requirement just because you're an actor that Karan or anyone else now has to invite you.

Karan is evil because he didn't invite someone to parties? People are really reaching because they're desperate to pick on KJo and using someone's death as an excuse for their usual agendas.

When is the right time then? When Tara gets depressed ? When Taapsee starts being unemployed ? Or when Kangana completely goes over the edge? Should we wait for when they will start Rajkumar Rao’s bashing? Even Shraddha who is not a complete star kid is often disregarded and undermined. Kirti Sanon, Radhika Apte, Radhika Mohan, Mrunal Thakur... why is no ones career going anywhere? How much fun is made of these people .... Alaya isn’t anyone’s daughter too. She just gave an amazing performance in Jawani Jaaneman. But no one is talking about it. Why? Ask yourself why.

Not a single soul made fun of Karan Deol because of his last name. But outsiders are easy targets to dump everything on. There is a whole system in place to target these people and dethrone them. But no worries I don’t expect johar enablers to understand, go and support that Suhana and all those bratty kids.

You're pretty much proving the point many are making in this thread. If the member is a fan of the actors doing the bullying, KJo is not guilty. If not, they are. Sheer opportunism.

Yeah I said it before which I thought would be controversial but the way people talk about suicidal people is really really sad. There are some people who are genuinely in a lot of pain and living is suffering for them, why do people have to be so cruel to them and make light of their situation. Do people even know how resilient the human body is - even attempting suicide can scar you because it is very hard to kill yourself because your body fights you back and goes in survival mode, killing yourself is not cowardly it means the person was in so much pain that they chose to hurt themselves to that extent only to escape the pain. People will never talk like that about someone with a physical illness like cancer, mentally ill people on the other hand are taken as a punching bag and called crazy, psycho, attention seeker etc. Not just in India but even in advanced countries in the west. It's sad.

I don't know what your talking about. But even if Kjo is guilty of being a bully, I still wouldn't blame him for ssr sucidie because it's not just ONE thing that causes depression, speaking from personal experience it's so many reasons that add up to depression level. I hate the fact that kjo is pushing all these star kids who has no appeal or star quality in my opinion shoving down our throats. I guess you can say I am someone who sees the good and the bad in people, I don't see only just one side. kjo is an entertainer and I like him for kwk because it's fun show. And I am sure this event will change him. I just wish there were more outsiders who have the full package getting breaks and opportunities.

No one is blaming Karan. Just some trolls online. But you can not deny that Karan is a huge problem in the industry. The monopoly needs to end
