If it was a common knowledge as it is given in Mahabharata then people being uncomfortable doesn't matter, they would have worshipped Draupadi as Goddess Laxmi

Forget as Lakshmi, even as a human she doesn't get the importance she deserves. During Dyut Sabha,

After having had lost everything, she got back Pandavas what they lawfully owned

She made the greatest men of those days completely mum. They didn't know how and what to react

She made her perpetrators go insane and so as to make stupid claims (like Duryodhan promised to free her if Pandavas said so)

And what exactly has today's Dyut Kreeda episode been reduced to?? Vastraharan of Draupadi and Krishna saving her. Level of patriarchy

Look at the white washed versions of Yudi and Karna 🙄 They put down Draupadi to elevate these people, why? Treat them as individuals, why Yudi has to be greatest man on earth, Star Plus Yudi is insufferable for me personally, I see a villainous figure being hailed as the greatest one

Then Don't even ask about Karna, Karna wouldn't recognize himself

Palace of illusions is like the worst representation. That literally had Karna sleeping on floor during the 13 years because his love might have been sleeping in pain.

I don't know what do take of it.

Any sane lady should appreciate Draupadi to the core but alas

For some people, that is misbehaving when coming from a woman.

I vaguely (😆) remember an argument where we were talking about her trying to escape sexual assault, and all one particular person could see in the 20 plus pages were the two uses of the word Suta. Imagine that! A woman is trying to escape rape. She gets no help from the elite. She lectures said elite about duty and honor. She arranges the death of the perv. And she gets blamed for calling him Suta!

Yes I doubt such society would ever appreciate the likes of Draupadi.

I remember once I had asked my mom why didn't Krishna marry Draupadi, to which she answered the men of those days knew that wives should not be at par to them, Krishna knew that Draupadi was at par to Him in everything so He didn't marry

The Pandavas were stupid enough not to find out her true potential and didn't realize how much more intellect she had over them and so they married her

This officially might not have been the reason (even mom knows that) but this definitely is a truth of our society

Yudi was semi whitewashed by Vyas himself and now he is being whitewashed all the more.

Karna lesser said the better. Just to justify his unchaste statement (the order for disrobe has already been passed on to Duryodhan) they make her decision of not marrying a Suta(even if we consider that version as true) as a casteist insult
