Salman had GREAT chemistry with his 90s actresses. Some people are saying Karisma-Govinda were more iconic, but I can say there are many people who prefer Salman-Karisma. Same goes with certain section of the audience preferring Salman-Ash in HDDCS over anything Ash-HR did.

And how are some of the jodis the TM mentioned more iconic, I have doubts. Amir Juhi for example. They had hits like QSQT and Ishq, but then also absolute dud like Tum Mere Ho. I don't think Amir and Juhi worked much together after the 90s.

If by iconic, you mean having that one big romantic hit, then Salman has that with Bhagyashree (Maine Pyar Kiya). Madhuri-Salman were also dope in the 90s.

Salman-Sonali?? ⭐️ people here will say she had better chemistry with Sunil/Ajay but she has done more films with them so the comparison is unfair. Despite that, I think she looked the best with Salman.

Yeah, now He is older and has had some awkward pairings recently. But overall in his career he has had good/great chemistry with most of his costars.

Aamir Juhi have 10 movies together which includes 3 special appearances. Thats the most Aamir has worked with any actress. Also QSQT and Hum hai raahi pyaar ke r iconic love stories. Ishq was a hit too.. Few early flops of them came right after QSQT and their pair was fresh and popular then so Its etched in mind. IMO iconic pair is what comes to mind when u think about pairings.. What u loved watching on screen and remembered. So Aamir with Juhi always

I was just thinking this the other day that Salman is probably one of the few actors who worked with most of the 90s actresses even though in only one film!! Be it Ayesha jhulka, Mamta Kulkarni, Nagma, twinkle, Urmila, Ramba, and many others! He made great pairings with each and everyone but yes, because he didn’t do multiple out and out romantic movies with the same actress, may be that’s why he doesn’t have the “iconic jodi” tag associated with him, for me I pretty much liked him with most of the actresses he has worked with, even Ayesha Takia in Wanted...the very recent ones I don’t care much lol but my personal favorite is Salman-Karishma!! They were just too good together! The only complaint I have is they didn’t do any heart-tugging kind of love stories! They only did comedies together!! He was great with Preity, Rani and Madhuri as well since he did more than 1 movie with each of them!!

My other personal favorite Bollywood Jodi is SRK-Preity!! Veer-Zaara is one of my all-time favorite movie with a great repeat value for me!! Again, I wish they did more movies together as a couple!! I like Saif-Preity as well!!

This thread inspired me to watch the beggining portion of Hum Dil. And I must say you are right. Again if anyone needs a reminder of how beautiful Aish was at the peak of her prime. That is the film to watch. Just look at her face, how perfect and symmetrical it is, how beautiful her large green eyes are, and they will realize no current actress can compare. I know this thread was suppose to be about Salman I carry on about Aish. But I am an Aish fan. Not much of a Salman one. But the chemistry in the movie was def based on something real. Not something a lot of movies have. Yes, it def added an additional spark to the movie.

Karisma and Salman are an amazing pair

He looked great with Madhuri IMO
