has anybody watched sonam wagchung interview on abp maza regarding boycotting chinese products.?

it reminds me babu genu,a freedom fighter who had burnt d british products at that time.

bt unfortunately ,since freedom ,use swadeshi,slogan remains just on paper.

at that time,it was britan,this time its china,next time,sone other country.

Talking about nostalgia does anyone remember that time when music videos were a trend with all top n very hot models. The music videos also had love stories with songs

Just saw few on youtube feels so young again 😄

I remember recording them on a VCR as if they were masterpieces that would be viewed multiple times later. But then these VHS tapes became extinct so quickly with the advent of the CD/DVDs that I hardly saw these recordings ever again.

Thanks for reminding me of those good old days!

I think all these songs with models came up in the mid nineties immediately after Apache indian... MTV and VT would repeatedly play these songs with their VJs like luke Kenny , Sophia , uddham singh .. to name a few ....And then there was this period of remixes to follow after the songs mentioned above 😊....

Another model I think was Rahul Bose whose English play"" sea scape with the sharks and the dancers"" along with anahita oberoi was played at the NCPA for quite some time ...

Bombay Times and ToI supplement on Sunday would cover them extensively ....We had some good writers in TOI like Anil Dharker , Cyrus Merchant , Shobha de , Mallavika Sanghavi.... Busybees columns " Round and about ""were a treat to read ... Unfortunately, Later Some lost themselves to commercialization some disappeared into oblivion...

@dhanu, - absolutely agreed. Few more artists earned instant fame in this arena like Baba sehgal (first Hindi rap) Ila Arun (based on folk music) , neeraj shreedhar, daler mehndi and quite a few.

I have seen him in person at international airport. He is easily noticable in the crowd and absolute stunner. Despite a controversial ad with madhu sapre in the beginning of his career he became the highest earning model in India in late 90s. The field which is predominantly ruled by north Indians it was a thing of pride for us (maharashtrians). He chose very bad movies to display his non-acting skills but later on devoted himself to social cause. He is a resident of shivaji park.
