The tie breaker question mein they asked Ash a subjective, opinion-based question like what kind of husband you want. 😆 And they asked a fact based question to Sush on which she fumbled. Yet Sush won.

I find that generally Sush is more well-spoken than Ash, but for that particular tie-breaker, I don't think Sush deserved to win.

God only knows why that happened, but ultimately I guess it was still good because both of them went ahead and won international crowns for India.

I don't think Ash was robbed though. if the tie-breaker was based on Q&A round alone, Sush would have still trumped Ash by a small margin, only because she speaks more eloquently. It's just that the questions were really random. Sush proved that she was not a fluke by winning Miss Universe crown.

From memory, Lara Dutta surpassed every BW actress that has represented India with her eloquent speech. She was oozing with confidence and has such an amazing hold on her voice, tone and speech. Despite not being the most beautiful, I felt that her win was very well deserved.

Absolutely. Lara is the most eloquent speaker of them all. She speaks very well. But unfortunately she wasted her talent; she hardly speaks.

Sushmita also looked very pretty along with Aish but I love Juhi ❤️

Lara Dutta KILLED it at Ms. Universe. Compare her answer to the rest. I think this was the fair way to do it. Asking everyone the same question. They probably didn’t have the fancy ear equipment back then. So they couldn’t hear each other’s answer.

Agree Aish is classically more beautiful but am amazed Madhuri is scoring higher than Sonali, Raveena, and Juhi.
