Sid is a kid. That maturity is more from his bitter experiences of life. He is guarded. He built that stern ,poised fortress around himself to protect his emotions from being used.
I strongly feel he was the most emotionally soft person inside that house.
He melts on seeing anyone in distress or anyone being emotional. So those hugs to all.
He needs human warmth. Likes cuddling. Same for sana. Ofcourse from people they are fond of.
And he gives the same to others. When mahira was crying ,when aarti was down ,when in family week rashmi was low ,when himanshi was crying.
Varun said so. That sid is the most gentle person he knows.
He was right. That tough exterior is just a defense mechanism.bad life experiences.
And yes sana brings out that child in him. He told us the reason also. That she is not hunting for things to be used against him. And he lets his guards down .!!!!
Very well written meena u penned my feelings ...sid is definately very soft and kiddish from inside ....he is very protective about his people which can be clearly seen ....and this is also true that he is very emotional from inside who can cry like a kid if someone touches his inner cord..remember he even cried listening to laxmi’s acid attack story ...he has experienced some harsh incidents in his life which has made him to have a tough exterior and this also can be clearly seen as u said he craves for comfort from his people even in the way of physical comfort like cuddling and pampering..but he let only shehnaaz enter that zone other people didn’t manage to see that side because sid has an exterior side who doesn’t let people see his inner side because I think he has bad experiences with trusting people
His trust has been deeply shaken in his past that’s the reason he doesn’t show his inner emotional and caring side ..this is his way of not letting people taking advantage of him ...and sid is a person who gets affected if he is emotionally invested and his hurt shows off ...that’s why he avoids getting emotional for someone ...
Shehnaaz was the only person who got his guards down because he knew she was not someone who takes advantage of person’s emotions against them for game...sid saw himself in shehnaaz which he accepted in front of Aarti also ..he knew that shehnaaz was real in front of him ,her behavior towards him whether good or bad was from her heart ...she fought With sid because of emotions ,she loved sid because of emotions ,she cuddled him because of emotions ,she was angry on him because of her emotions ...this is why sid got affected by her because she managed to touch the inner sid by her real nature
