The storm rages outside but a storm is brewing in my little fence dweller's heart.

That first pang of love, that first moment when you realize that you want to be a part of someone's world; she feels it intensely now.

I love how playful he is with her, unafraid to tease her and make her blush.

He knows he is getting a different vibe from her; from someone who pushes away, she is slowly and surely opening up like a flower.

I loved the impromptu game; the careless fun of it adding to the couple playing records and Geet making friends with the babys' Mom and helping out.

The human spirit can survive anything and does. I love that.

BTW, where was I when that fire alarm went off?😆

Nahi nahi, no such deviant plans for me but I seriously want to see him get a tiny idea about what madam is thinking.

Office romance? YUP!!

It would make for fun and nerves and excitement all in one.

Geet is finally realizing what she feels for him is more than attraction and she can't keep aside that feeling anymore... its only getting stronger and Maan might be seeing a hint of it and sure eager for her to open up and become part of his life and world.

The scenes of the stadium are beautifully described, can feel being there and celebrating life with the stranded people who are seeing positivity in an adverse situation case. Salute to human spirits!

I have this feeling that Geet would make a great mother, she seemsso fond of babies especially tending to crying babies. I love babies too, theones that don't speak and don't pull hair and funnily enough babies love me toolol. I think it's my over the top expressive face lol. The man handing outapples, that is indeed a very human gesture. It's hard to find people like him,so generous and giving at a time when most individuals would be selfish yet hechose to be selfless. Have you heard of brother Ali Banot, his documentarycalled Gifted with Cancer is so moving and inspirational. He's an Australian(relatively rich, owns a Ferrari man) and was diagnosed with stage 3 or 4(can't remember) cancer and since then he's on a mission of getting rid of hisworldly wealth, he's the founder of Muslims around the world (MATW) charity. Whenmost would count down the last days with family and prayers, he is making aremarkable change in parts of Africa and other parts of the world buildingschools, hospitals, etc. Such a remarkable story and even better, he is stillalive. Doctors had given him 6/8 months and now it's nearly 2 years. Recently,he's helping Rohinga refugee's in Bangladesh. May Allah cure him, ameen. Peoplelike him are real gems in this world, and they say one man can't bring change.Well he brought change to thousands and that too on his own up until thousandsfollowed pursuit and aided his cause.

I only got to know of him when he died. Indeed a great person. May Allah reward all his efforts and grant him highest ranks in Jannah!

Anyway sorry back to the story, just got flowed in another story.I love reading and finding real people, like him and many more. Anyway, I lovethe ease that's flowing between the two, Geet trying to subtract stories fromhim and his way of telling a tale is just, what can I say about this Maan lol.Even the most exciting yet thrillingly scary story was told in the mostplatonic way, he had me roll my eyes along with Geet lol.

Oh football, did you have to mention it. After years of seclusionfrom the sport I delve back into it. Liverpool are doing well, so you can guesswhy? lol And needless to say Mohammed Salah is just so humble, people can'thelp to fall in love with his personality. Nope this football playing Maancan't beat M.Salah at the moment, after years of dry and dull football he comesin and boy does he play so well. Liverpool have had a string of great player'sright from Owen, Fowler and Carragher, to Gerrard, Torres, and Saurez but Salahis something else. I love his down to earth personality. Of course love forGerrard wouldn't die down this easily lol, that that has cooking right fromwhen I was 9 lol.

That's a lot of information. I have to admit I'm wayyy too far away from that sport. BUT I know of M Salah and I really admire him.

OK back to the story again, they say people who make light even inthe darkest situation are the winners, so yes Maan, the boys and people merrilyliving even in the most scariest situation are winning wearing a smile. Geettoo is winning by losing a little bit more of herself to Maan. I can't reallycomplain about Maan since you gave me nothing to complain about lol, I kindamiss ripping this Maan apart lol.

Your words reminded me of something my mother always tells us siblings. "If you manage to find humour in a difficult situation, you win."

I loved this chapter, it had that essence of everything's going tobe A OK. Maan and Geet unknowingly are growing emotionally stronger. And whatis love, if not an emotion.

The fact that even today it is only Geet that can "control" Maan was not lost on anyone (including Geet I hope..lol). But after all his experiences with her, the fact that Maan is even subconsciously putting his guard down around Geet is kind of endearing. He is helpless about his feelings when it comes to her... awww.

Maan has always been a responsible guy, so it is hardly surprising that he is extremely concerned for all his employees. He is a keeper.. even as a boss apparently :)

Geet's realization of his feelings for Maan came a little unexpectedly for me. I knew she was growing closer to him, but didn't think she would start analyzing her emotions so soon (Let us just say that I don't want this story ending at all..lol).

Now waiting for what happens next 😃

Like in part 48 how he confessed to manipulate Geet to take the job. I thought that after that hospital confession and apology Maan has really let bygones be bygones, but no all the way he was planning something. and after reading some parts again i think that apart from having geet in his office he has something else in his mind.

He is still hurt inside and then there is his Ego as well. But he still loves Geet and may be he is not ready to accept this fact or may be he has accepted this fact but suppressing his feelings and doing all this stuffs as he cannot stay away from her or he wants to make her stay near him.

Has Maan hired Geet to make her fall in love with him so that if a day comes when geet confesses her love he will take his revenge. I dont think he will go to that level.

But i think he has convinced himself that he is done with his feelings for Geet and he does not love her. He is adamant on this fact. But somewhere his hear still carves for Geet to be a part of his life.

All the moments btwn Maan and geet seems genuine but i am afraid that may be Maan will use them for his profit.

In part 48 Maan said "We're even" and after that geet also apologized but may be maan has forgiven her but he has not forgotten her words.

Right now it seems that it is Maans whose Heart is Wired and i hope he does not take any wrong decision and play with his and hers love.

Also i noticed that for a very long time Maan has Not dated anyone.

This comment has so many observations which have not been made so far by anyone except my sister. I have to say you've done quite some minute thinking over the story.

You're right. Whenever things started to seem normal, one thing or another always brought the past up and more or less, the reason would be Maan and the most apparent thing was his bitterness. But, as humans, I think most of us are like that. We tend to forgive but we never forget and we never let go of the bitterness. It needs closure. I was talking to my mum the other day about something which happened almost a decade ago and I was telling her that I have forgiven my culprit but I will never forget it. My memories of him will always be tarnished. And even though this similarity was not intended in the story, I think it happens with most people.

@Bold: Not defending him here but he said those words in retaliation to what Geet had said. His only (apparent) reason to manipulate her was to get he best for his company by hook ke by crook.
