There are actually 2 shows on Zee which I want to be pulled off but nothing is happening to them😆

Show revamps should be done with a better narrative what I was trying to say is with the success of mytho shows audience has actually made it clear that they want simple stories where there is no wife or husband swapping, evil ex multiple marriages etc. So once shoot resumes will audiences accept over complicated stories.

fact is shows like saas bahu only gets trp and not content shows and that's the reason ekta is getting naagin 5 and she already announced. 😆 and this tradition will not change after normalcy also am sure.

This I agree saas bahu shows are like staple diet for aunties...I heard about naagin 5😆

I don't understand why can't ITV have shows which are finite with a strong script like Pakistani shows humsafar, maat, daam, marzi, yeh dil mera, wish we can have Indian adaptation of shows like them.

I would also love to watch a show on Wuthering Heights and Gone with the wind without any twists I hope this dream comes true.

Aise shows itv me to mushkil hai.... Finite shows trp aunties won't like then channels also won't like bcoz shows saalo chalte hai unse.... Best example is god's content shows ki trp.... Only ppl like us watch shows like pb b2 or any other show with less drama good content

That's true finite shows won't be liked by trp aunties having said that the ITV,industry would not have been affected to THIS extent if the shows were finite as they could have easily gone on a season break during this lockdown and recall value of shows would have been better American sitcoms are examples of this.

Not just bh2 and pb2 but other content driven shows like Tamanna and dil sambhal ja zara on sp they had good content but were pulled off because trp aunties did not like it.

Ye wo viewers hain jiske pas koi aur option nahi hai jab tv par achha content hoga toh sab log dekhna chahenge hi jaise ott par we have amazon, netflix, zee5, voot while we also have alt balaji har jagah har tarah ka content diya ja sakta hai aur sabki apni audience hoti hai but the problem is itv is so scared of change that they believe in cashing the age old used and tested formulas for daily soap and dont want to change themselves.

Remember the serials before daily soap format. There were some very good weekly shows on tv like challenge, mahayagya on sony. Basera, saanjhi, mehndi tere naam ki, amanat on zee tv. Kora kaagaz, saans, palchhin on star plus.....kya zamana tha wo....all these shows were perfect blend of family drama plus societal issues.

Aur ye sab serials bhi ek time par kaafi hit the inhi trp aunties ke kaaran. Bas jab se ekku maiyya ne saas bahu trend shuru kar diya hai tab se jo satyanash hua hai itv ka tab se lagatar niche girta ja raha hai level

Exactly.... Those shows were hit bcoz it that time these unnecessarily drama vale shows nahi the.... And now see pb ka HI example.... Us time slot me jo drama vale hai unki trp zyada hai pb S3 bcoz now the are so habituated to that drama hi content dikhao to bhi unhe chahiye nahi.... Ekta ne poora kachda kar diya hai.....
