I already know it's a lame excuse, but anyone that states even a minor critism of the current government is labeled anti-Hindu/unloyal so I get your point it's easier to support BLM, but I don't see Deepika or PC posting anything at all despite being more prominent figures in HW & US. Or maybe I missed it so please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I do agree witht he 2nd paragraph though but there's really no freedom of speech even it comes to criticizing Modi or BJP--it's either you support them blindly or you're unpatriotic. The only ones that have said anything are people that don't live in India like Hasan Minaj/John Oliver, etc.

Are you guys seriously criticizing celebs for not speaking up in India? There are such polarizing views regarding what is happening amongst the people and even this forum, which side should she have spoken up for? Some were with the police and some against. In India, speaking up means your films get banned and some poor producer and investors all suffer coz YOU decided to open your mouth. The west has freedom of speech and people can for the most part say and protest without fear.

Saif and the khans face taunts of “traitors” and go back to Pakistan if they say anything critical of the government. Saif got virtually burned for opening up his mouth a few months ago about what was happening.

Either way, Kareena also posted about the Bengals floods. She’s also made donations to India in the Covid pandemic to UNICEF, PM cares and for migrant workers. So please, let’s not make it seem like she’s blind to what’s happening at home.

If Kareena posts about issues in India, warriors of IF would still have issues as she has to speak about infinite problems then else be criticized.

Anyways, anyone who criticizes India or the Government or the police or just anything about India is given different names or said to be born with a golden spoon, asked to count numbers, criticized for finding issues with India and not with foreign countries etc. 😆

Safest is to criticize other countries and other Governments but now that's also not appreciated 😒😆

I’m glad she posted this, about time more people talk. My city is in flames today and I’m as proud as I’m scared. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Like I said it’s about time we demand and bring change. All lives matter period.
