PART 4

Raman was standing and thinking about appa's words when his phone rang again.he picked it seeing toshiji's number and said-hello maa.

Toshiji-kahan hai tu puttar,maine call kiya tha kothi(their mansion in mumbai) par,tu pahuncha nahi hai wahan par.tu thik hai naa,aur kyun nahi pahuncha tu wahan??

Raman-haan maa,main bilkul thik hoon,nahi jaa paaya kyunki koi apna mil gaya mujhe yahan.

Toshiji-apna,kaun??

Raman was about to tell about Ishita and kids but think otherwise and said-mera ek dost mil gaya,ussi ke saath hoon.

Toshiji-tu sach mein thik hai naa,jhooth toh nahi bol raha??

Raman-nahi maa,I am good.he said and then hung up the call.

Raman-abhi phone par maa se baat karna thik nahi,woh aise bhi gussa hai Ishita se,agar unhe adi-ruhi ke baare mein bataya abhi ,toh bawaal kar dengi .first I have to talk to ishita,itni badi baat kyun nahi batayi ,kya chahti hai ,mera kya status hai uski zindagi mein.there r many things which we have to discuss,usse pehle maa ko ishita aur bachchon ke baare mein nahi bataunga.he thought and went out to talk to ishita.

He went to hall and saw adiru playing sitting in a small house with their toys.he smiled seeing them playing lost in their world when they came to Raman and said-kya hua,papa.kuch chahiye aapko??

Raman-haan,aapki mumma.

Adiru laughed and said-mumma koi cheez tholi hai toh hum aapko de dein,woh toh hamali mumma hai.

Raman smiled and said-i mean to say,aapki mumma kahan hai,I need to talk to her.

Ruhi-loom mein,last wala loom unka hai .

Adi-aley buddhu luhi,papa ko mumma ka loom pata hai,naa papa.

Raman-haan bachcho,thanks.he said and went to her room.he composed himself before entering the room,and then open it only to see Ishita setting her pallu.

She look at him and turned ,while he turned and said-sorry.

Ishita-is this way to enter a lady's room.cant u knock.

Raman-sorry,aadat nahi hai.

Ishita set her pallu and said turning to him-u can turn now.

Raman turn and saw her wearing a simple blue saree,her hair were tied in a pony while she was wearing studs.no sindoor,no mangalsutra,only a small bindi,but still she was looking very beautiful and elegant.he was ogling at her while she look down feeling his gaze and said-kuch chahiye tha aapko??

That broke his trance and he said-nahi,just wanted to talk to u.do u have sometime.

Ishita-really sorry,but I have to go.

Raman-badla le rahi ho??

Ishita-i would love to do that,but now it's emergency.hospital se phone aaya hai,ek emergency case hai,so I have to rush.saying so she was going when Raman said-sindoor aur mangalsutra pehan kar achchi lagti thi.

Ishita-i know,but I am divorcee now,aur divorcee ki life jeena is not easy,aapke liye toh kuch nahi badla hoga,but it really took me hard to recognise myself after I left wearing my marriage symbols.

Raman-tum mujhse bahut naraaz ho naa??

Ishita look at him and said sadly-woh haq aapne mujhe kabhi diya hi nahi ,Raman.she said and went out when she banged into appa.

Appa-kahan ??

Ishita-hospital.

Appa-ishu??

Ishita-its an emergency ,appa.she said and went out of the house taking her car keys .

Raman came out of her room and saw adiru sitting sadly talking to each other.raman went to them only to hear them saying,luchi ke papa uchke liye kitne gift le kal aaye the.

Adi-haan saulabh ke papa toh usse hamesha baahal ghumane le jaate hai.

Ruhi-aul hamale papa jab che aaye hai,silf mumma-papa ladh lahe hai.

Adi-lagta hai papa humche utna pyaal nahi kalte.

Ruhi started crying hearing him and said-papa itne buchy kyun hai bhiya,ki humche pyaal kalne ka bhi time nahi unke paach.mumma bhi toh kaam kalti hai,woh toh hume time deti hai.hamale papa achche nahi hai kya, bhiya.she said wiping her tears with both her hands.

Adi hugged her tight and said-aiche mat luhi,main hoon naa.main tujhse bahut pyaal kalta hoon aul hamecha tujhe sabche jyada time dunga.he said consoling little ruhi while Raman was just standing there looking at their kids.

He went to the room back and sat on the bed.

Raman-bachchon ko bhi lagta hai,mere liye paise aur business sabse jyada important hai.kya sach mein main itna bura hoon,kya sach mein maine kabhi rishton ki kadar nahi ki,he said and stand up-mujhe nahi pata pehle ki yaa nahi ,but now I will respect all my relations.mere bachchon ko uske papa chahiye toh,main dunga unhe unke papa.he thought and went out only to see the kids still sitting and talking.

Ruhi-chayad papa ko chot lagi hai ichliye humche pyaal nahi kal lahe.

Adi-luhi,papa humko bhool toh nahi gaye, jaiche pictule mein log bhool jaate hai sal pal chot lagne pal.he said and Raman went to them smiling.

He picked adiru in his arms and said-aisa kuch nahi hai,papa ko apne dono bachche yaad hai.itne pyaare bachche koi bhool sakta hai kya??

Adiru smiled hearing his words and said resting their head on either shoulders-toh aap hamale liye gift kyun nahi laaye??

Raman-laaya tha,but plane mein kharab ho gaya.he said and both the kids look down sadly.

Raman-koi nahi,we can go and shop now.shopping chaloge.he said making their face lite up.

Adi-chopping??

Raman kissed him and said-haam babu,shopping.hum log baahar jayenge,shopping karenge aur khana bhi baahar khayenge .he said and both get excited.

Raman-go and get ready,he said and kids ran to their room.

Raman was smiling when his eyes went to appa who was standing there.

Raman-main bachchon ko baahar le jaaun??I know I should have asked u ,but they were really sad that I am not giving them time,kuch laaya bhi nahi unke liye.so I thought to take them out.

Appa-kaash apne bachcho ki tarah apni biwi ke baare mein socha hota kabhi,toh shayad yeh din nahi aata.he said making Raman look at him.

Appa-chalo chodo,waise u don't have to seek my permission for taking them out ,but remember u r have to behave like a father.

Raman-what do u mean,I am a father??

Appa-father hone mein aur father banne mein fark hota hai ,bachchon ki responsibility leni padhti hai,khud se pehle unke baare mein sochna padhta hai.

Raman-main kuch samjha nahi.

Appa-samajh jaoge,for now,ur kids r small .khud ready nahi ho payenge,go and make them ready.he said and went.

Raman thought about it and went to their room.adiru were really struggling to get ready but was creating a mess.

Raman-appa is right,baap banna aur uski responsibility uthana alag alag hai.chal beta ho jaa shuru.he said and walked inside.

Raman-what happened,champs??

Adi-hum taiyaal nahi ho paa lahe,mela pial baal baal ek hi hole mein chala jaa laha hai.

Ruhi-mera flock gil laha hai,papa.

Raman-ok,let me help.he said and start making adi ready ,ruhi start crying seeing this saying he loves adi more.raman start making them ready together and finally after half an hour,both the kissed were ready.

Raman wiped his sweat and said-uff,what a tiring work,chalo.its done ,chalte hai.he said picking them in his arms when ruhi said-luhi ki choti toh baandho ,papa.

Raman-yeh bhi karna hai,he said and start tying her braid.after ten minutes,he could make a presentable braid and they walked out .

Appa saw them and said-khayal rakhna bachchon ka,I know they r ur kids too,but ishu ki jaan hai yeh dono.take care of them.

Raman-ji appa,he said and was going when his phone rang.he picked it only to hear that everyone was waiting for him in the meeting,for which he came to Mumbai.

Raman-shit,I totally forgot about it.woh meeting toh bahut jaruri hai.he was saying when his eyes fell on adiru and he said-but mere bachchon se jyada nahi.he thought and told them postpone the meeting as he is not fine.

Raman hung up the call and went out with kids while appa smiled seeing him giving preference to adiru over his business.

After two hours,Ishita came and saw the house was extra silent.she thought the kids r sleeping and look for Raman but he was also nowhere.

She went to appa and said-kaise hai??

Appa look at her and said-jaisa savere tha waisa hi.

Ishita smiled meekly and sat next to her.appa saw her looking for him and said-woh nahi hai.

Ishita-oh chale gaye,ofcourse he will go.yahan rukne ki koi wajah bhi toh nahi unke liye.

Appa-hamesha jarurat se jyada nahi sochna chahiye,woh bachchon ko le kar baahar gaya hai.

Ishita-bachcho ke saath,but why.aapne kyun jaane diya??

Appa-let me think,why I let him take the kids,may be because he is their father.yeh reason sufficient hai ??

Ishita-but he don't know how to tackle them,woh dono bahut shaitaan hai.

Appa-toh usse sikhne do,let him learn to handle the kids,his kids .

Ishita-but why,he is not going to be with them always,toh kya zarurat hai inn sabki.

Appa-u want him to go ,tum ab bhi chahti ho ki woh chala jaaye.

Ishita didn't said anything just went saying ,she is going to make food.

At seven ,Raman came back with adiru and saw them already sleeping in his arms.

Ishita-kya hua??

Raman-do cartoon movies dekhi ,back to back ,aur so gaye.naa kuch khaaya aur naa shopping ki.

Ishita-make them sleep in their room.she said and Raman made them sleep comfortably on their bed.he kissed their foreheads and said-my babies,papa loves u.he said and turn only to see Ishita standing there.

She got startled and asked-i just came to ask,u had something.medicine khaayi aapne??

Raman-nahi,kisi ne diya nahi.

Ishita-aapke room mein rakhi hai,raman.how can u be so careless,aapko chot lagi hai.she was saying when he said came close to her and -main thak gaya hoon khud ka khayal rakhte rakhte,now I have to take care of someone else,aur chahta hoon woh someone else mera khayal rakhe.he said and walked out of the room while ishita stood there for long taking his intoxicating masculine fragrance.

Soon it was night,Ishita was serving the food when adiru said-umm,matal paneel,papa ka favoulite.hamala favoulite nahi banati,silf papa ka favourite banati ho.papa aap loz aaya kijiye,walna mumma hume chabzi khilayengi.they were saying all excited seeing the food when Ishita said-adi,rooh,shut up aur chup chap khana kha lo.warna main aaj bhi sabzi khilaungi.she said strictly while adiru's face fall.

Raman-whats the need to shout,dekho muh uttar gaya dono ka.

Ishita-toh kya karun,let them expect that u will visit them regularly.she said and Raman was about to say something when appa-no talking on the dining table,aur jhagda toh bilkul nahi.adi-ruhi,eat silently.

Adi-pal hum toh kuch keh hi nahi lahe ,nanu.hum toh chup chap kha lahe hai.yummy chabzi hai.hum dono toh jhagla bhi nahi kalte.he said feeding ruhi a morsel.

Appa-kaash saare samajh paate ki jhagdna galat hota hai,isse koi solution nahi nikalta.he said glaring ishra.

Both look away and Raman said-wow adi,aap toh bahut smart ho,khud bhi kha lete ho,aur ruhi ko bhi khila dete ho.

Adi -kyunki main big blothel hoon naa.

Raman-very nice,aaj papa khilaye aap dono ko??he asked and both nodded excitedly.

Ishita-raman,it's not needed.

Raman-its needed,aur har kuch tum mujhe nahi bataogi.

Ishita was about to say something when appa hold her hand and said-let him feed,tum apna khao.

Raman started feeding the kids happily when they feed him a morsel too.he closed his eyes feeling the taste and a tear fell off his eyes which he wiped out instantly but Ishita was quick enough to notice it.

Ishita-why he cried,because of the taste of the food or because his kids fed him,pata nahi.kabhi mera khana appreciate toh kiya nahi,uske liye emotional kyun honge.she thought eating while her eyes were on rumandi only.
