Prithvi’s commendable sleuthing skills are zeroing in on the identity of Jodha’s stalker and her parents’murderer. I pray he is apprehended before Jodha is in harm’s way.

What a start to the birthday celebration. Under the fireworks of a raging thunderstorm, she sat

all frozen on the very telling last step of the porch while he was afire, each imaging and fearing the worst-case scenario that their best half ( love this term) must be facing.

Her calm and collected response of asking him to come home...told us their face-to-face was going to be something that would bring more than quite a few tingling sensations to the reader.

Their exchange was sheer bliss to read and the crescendo was when she picked at all the flaws of her heart at length and he brought the entire house down with his master stroke : Marry Me.

We died and went to heaven.

What a stunner of a proposal !

And the adult knowledge she is lacking, he is only too delighted, honoured and more than willing to tutor her. The birds and the bees , or in this case, handcuffs and strawberries , have taken on a more potent dimension.

Mr Jalal sir- you have us eating out of your hands. What is there not to adore about you? Above and everything your wickedly subtle, s,e,x and y ways are the death of us.

Jahnu, that PBD is a sensation is well-known. You seduce us with your breathtaking ( literally each word that you pen leaves us breathless) writing skills. Thank you so, so much for gifting us this update and the next one that we are eagerly and impatiently anticipating.🤗 ❤️ 🤗

Chapter 42

Blockbuster update di. Loved it, Prithvi is on the right track, hope the culprit will be revealed soon. Any clue that culprit is mentined. If he/she is, then will love to read again to learn who he/she is😉

Another call… another anonymous voice… another tragedy!

Oh my God. She recalled it all😭, my heart went out to her😭. She was even afraid to pick his call, scared it will be answered by someone else😭

What if she’s in danger and this, accidental or not, was his only link of communication with her? What if losing this connection meant losing the chance to rescue her?

Oh my my, here he is scared for her safety. Both are made for each other. I loved his patience, his love for her, his worries, his calmness. Hope every Jodha gets a Jalal like him😉

“Damn you woman… damn you to hell. What did you think you were doing? Is this some sort of joke for you? Tell me… is scaring the shxt out of me your idea of fun? Or your idea of revenge? Oh yeah.. he doesn’t pick my Thirty frigging calls, fine.. let me pay him back … let me wait and watch while he blew his head off. Is that what your shitty silence was all about? Come on Jodha… answer me. Is that the kind of stupidity running in your head? Answer me God damn it”, he growled and when he received brief silence he howled again. “I’m warning you Jo… if you’re going silent on me now, I swear…”

How worried he must be to lose his patience, when he knew she is in danger, while she has gone through a lot of pain, suffering and loss and recalled all of it again. The fear pf being left alone is the worst of all😭

“Come home Jalal.”

No restrictions imposed, no compromises asked. Jodha doggedly pressed her face down. He’ll get the Jodha he deserves, and she will learn how to deal with her fears.

👏Even after going through a lot, while many people turn imprisoners for their loved ones, she is ready to face her fears for him. 👏👏

Loved the whole update. Waiting eagerly to know who this enemy hidden behind a facade of friend and when both our Jodha Jalal will become one. Waiting eagerly for next chapter. It took me three hours to write this feedback because of my cut niece😆, hope I dint disappoint you and was able to convey who much I loved it.

Jahnu - So very glad to read your looooong awaited update. Without any disconnects in the story how seamlessly you stitched together and covered the almost 3 year silence - very smoothly without missing a beat. 👏

Starting from ACP Prithvi in the verge of unraveling the murder mysteries of Jodha’s family to the way how both Jalal & Jodha get through the turmoil of each other’s predicament, you have us captive. Your writing style is laid in such a way by not just for us wanting to know what’s coming up but also wanting to dwell both in their tumultuous and sweet moments and soak it all up.

Your super sleuth skills shine through ACP’s thought process & am I glad to see that he’s in the verge of disclosing it to his friend. Though you haven’t mentioned it in C42 part 1 wonder if ACP too will get lucky in love in the coming chapters. 😉

Now to the main course. We were all waiting to relish Jalal’s Birthday celebrations & instead you gave us a lovely surprise with a simple but heartfelt marriage proposal to immerse in.

His realization of her holding behind that imaginary line drawn by him - that last step of the porch - a classic parallel from the epic and the positive results it brought for her adherence knowingly or not. A nice touch.

His binary ‘Marry me’ followed by the quarternary ‘ I love you.Period’ came at the most unexpected moment & place.

Without doubt stole the episode. 😳👏

Kudos to you for keeping us enthralled with this pair & binding us to them. It’s your doing that has made us chase you down to get this wonderful update. The lockdown does deserve a hooray & needless to say we are waiting to devour the next one anxiously.
