I haven't read the Gita yet...I really want to but my parents are scared that I'm going to give up everything in life and move to the Himalayas to become a monk.

Yikes...I guess it is a cursed book 😆 but it doesn't lessen my love for it. But, then if this is true then the whole cast of MB should have experienced bad luck as they were playing the characters themselves, correct?

There is no problem in reading Mahabharat book outside your house or playing the characters! They say you just shouldn't bring the book inside your house. I don't trust it though😆
