@underlined;..sync again 😆

voh meenu ke liye mere dil mei ek soft corner hai chandu..any woman cant take her partner cheating her..and to look at the other woman that too on daily basis , it needs courage yaara..how painful it cud have been for her...& again i vud like to disagree vid u darl, Meenu ne parul ko maid nahi banayi..parul took care of household..she took care of business..ghar ka kaam karna is not being maid ..see i vil say it in other words..Meenu bcam a PAPA figure(earning for family) & parul the MAMMA figure(taking care of house)..i guess i am clear,...

she raised Kunal with so much love..yes i dont agree she doesnt love kunal...she does may be Abir se thoda less..but she does...for me even when she was blackmailing Abir aftr goddhana , she will not have ousted kunal or Parul if at all abir didnt give in..she vud have just come up vid another plot(in my opinion atleast ) dr..

again chandu ..Meenu may not have hand in business fraud..may be like u said he was hinting at her making Abir legitamate & parul & kunal illegitamate ..(my take again dr where we are in half sync 😉)..

meera 🤗

Meenu ke liye I don't have any soft corner yaar..but I don't hate her😆and ya I totally forgot about parul wanted to look after family thing...meenu explained it the next episode after abir questioned her ... anyways meenu ,mehul,parul,naanu,abir,Kunal these characters have lot of mystery surrounding them....like MeMeRul triangular love story🤣 and naanu's involvement in their story, MeMe business back story, abinal birth truth...lets see what cvs will show😃

Am glad that even after 270 episodes there is so much to show about the characters back story..though at times cvs ruin things we should appreciate them for maintaining the curiosity

I'm going to take an opportunity to address something I've wanted to for a while, since the original intent of this thread is related.

I really, really dislike how this show deals with the concept of "biological" parents, adoption, and so-called "illegitimacy". From the beginning, I've noticed that the greatest mistake the writers have made is using the term "real" parents for what should be called "biological" parents. The whole real/not real parents thing really gets on my nerves, because it completely discredits the concept and legitimacy of adoption. I've always been a firm believer in the fact that you don't become a parent just by giving birth to a child; you become a parent by raising that child with care.

And on the label of "illegitimate": Where do I even start? It's so... 19th century. I understand that the Rajvansh family is one rooted in tradition, but constantly touting the "najaayaz" tag is so archaic, for lack of a better word. The fact of the matter is that both Parul and Meenakshi believed that they were actually married to Mehul when they gave birth to Abir and Kunal, so the fact that the legitimacy of both the boys' births comes down to the legal technicalities of both marriages seems so contrived to me. I get that this whole thing surrounding "illegitimacy" is what is building the drama in the show right now, but I have to acknowledge that they haven't done much to erase the stigma of children being born "out of wedlock".

In my eyes, Meenakshi will always be Kunal and Abir's "real" mother, just as Varsha is Kuhu's real mother. Both of the women have raised their children as their own, and that too, with a lot of love and devotion. This relationship of adoptive mother/adoptive child should be posited as direct proof that blood does not, in fact, run thicker than water. But instead, this show uses it as just another manipulative tool to build drama. It's quite sad, honestly.

Welcome Meera!

So totally agree with you on this. Real parents are the ones who raise you, people who give birth do not automatically become parents.

That's why Mehul is not even in the radar for Kunal. For Abir, he is, just because he remembers him with rose colored glasses. Th only difference I find with Parul is that she is also a family member. If Meenu raised them, so did Parul. Abir and Ketu treat her as maasi, so I'm assuming she showered the same amount of love on all of them right? It must grate to not have the love from Kunal, but him calling her maa was never an issue for her. She says as much once when he dithers between maa and maasi - tum mujhe jo chahe bula le. All she wants is the affection, and maybe some respect.

I guess (or hope) they are trying to address the point about "real" parents, but probably not.

hi meera...

i think even mishti should add in this... as mishti is defined by BP-BM not naman or karishma... the parents who took care of their children are real parents for me, as it can be grand parents or badi maa or bade papa or any other... JANAM dene se maa baap nahi bante, apne bacho ki zimmedari bhi utani padti hain...

abir also adds the list for me, by naanu and parul being his parents as morethan meenu they did abir parenting...
