How to stop these annoying notifications?

I don't want to know when someone replies in a thread I post. Sometimes these threads run into tens of pages and I keep getting notifications relentlessly.

And I don't need notifications when someone likes my post either. Earlier we used to get notified only for the first like, and it was ok. Now if I get 25 likes for a post, I get 25 notifications. And that's annoying af.

I only need to be notified when someone quotes my post.

Shouldn't we be able to customize notification settings?

i checked the option in my settings but i dont see the option of controlling whether someone liked a post or comment...
