Aditiya already knew everything about his father

and he knew the gifts were from his mother , such a little boy

he experienced such pain due to his father leaving them

while Toshiji too is not please with Raman scolding Simmi

08. ᴍᴇʟᴛɪɴɢ ʜᴇᴀʀᴛꜱ..??!!

"Congratulations jiju..!!" Ishita side hugged Bala, once he and Vandita walked in Iyer house. "Akka told me, business association is awarding you for best CEO of the year."

"Aiyyo Ishu, you didn't tell us." Mrs. Iyer said disappoint while Bala took blessing from them.

"Amma, appa you have to join me in the evCongratulationsent tonight, especially you, Ishu.. Your akka was telling me that you're searching for a job, so I talked to few of my contacts, and they'll be there tonight, so if you come, I'll introduce you to them." Bala said.

"Of course jiju.. I'll come, it's a big day for you." Ishita hugged Vandita happily and they celebrate the moment.

"Wow akka.. You're looking so pretty." Mihika praises Ishita once she saw her dressed in a red gown, she curled her hair with having minimum makeup on face.

"Thank you. And even you're looking gorgeous."

"Thank you." Mihika blushed.

"You're blushing as if your boyfriend complimented you." Ishita teased making her cheek goes red.

"Stop it akka.. Let's go..!"

"Where's amma, appa?" Ishita asked once they walked out from the room and found the Hall empty.

"They went to Vandu akka's house, Adi is with them.. Actually Shravu isn't feeling well, so amma appa went to see him. They might not attend the event." Mihika informed.

"What happened to him? Is he alright?" Ishita gets worried.

"Yes akka.. Nothing to worry about.." Giving a nod to her, Ishita said, "You bring out the car, i'm coming after locking the door."

Mihika left from there while Ishita locked all the doors and walked out from the house, she locked the main gate and about to turn when her heel twirled and she was about to fall but she felt a strong arm holding her by her waist, Ishita opened her eyes and saw herself in Raman's arms. He helped her to stand on her feet. "Thank you."

"Khamba lag rahi ho iss six inch ke heels mein." (You're looking like pillar in this six inches heel.) He taunted her. "Fashion dikhane ke liye insaan kya kya karte hai." (To show fashion, people do so much.) Murmuring this, Raman left from there while Ishita looked at herself whispering, "Khamba dikh rahi hoon? Forget it.. Kuch bhi bolta hai.." (Am I looking like pillar? Forget it.. He says anything..)

Ishita and Mihika reached at the venue where Bala and Vandita waited for them. "How's Shravu, akka?"

"He's better now.. God knows, kya khaya tha.. Suddenly pet dard shuru ho gaya tha usko." (God knows,what he ate.. Suddenly his stomach started aching.) * ZVandita said.

"Vandu, let's go in.." They were about to go when a car came and Raman gets down.

"What is he, doing here?" Ishita asked shocked.

"Like others, he's also invited."

Ignoring them, Raman entered in the venue, Ishita and her family also entered.

As soon as Raman entered, his eyes fall on Shagun who was already present there, ignoring her, he went to meet his associates while Shagun stared at him. "Isn't he looking handsome?" Tanusree asked to Shagun. "God, he was so dumb before.. But now look.. Girls drools over him always.. And you know his business is trending on top..!"

"You've a lot of interest in him.. Why don't you go to him and talk to him..!" Shagun rolled her eyes. "... And by the way, Ashok was the one who taught him how to do business.. And moreover, today whatever he is, just because of me.. If I won't leave him, then he would not have the passion to step into the business world and he would still be an employee who worked under Ashok."

"Whatever it is Shagun.. Now Raman has gone far ahead from Ashok." Tanusree praised Raman's talent.

"Whatever..!!" Rolling her eyes, Shagun left from there.

She was standing aside and staring at Raman thinking about her marriage. "How can he move on so easily..? He can't forget me." She said gritting her teeth in anger.

"Hey baby..!" Ashok slide his hand on her waist, when she jerked his hand away saying, "Leave me Ashok..!" Saying this, she walked away.

Shagun was passing by him when suddenly she collide with a waiter, Raman saw her when she intentionally pretend to be injured and exposes her leg from the side cut of her gown.

She saw Raman watched her, so she composed herself and went to the bar counter where Raman was present. "One vodka..!" Raman ordered angrily.

"Orange juice..!" Shagun ordered.

"Have you keep your shame in your house?" Raman asked gritting his teeth.

"Excuse me?" She turned at him.

"Jo harqat abhi kiya hai, usse mujhpe koi farq nahi padha.. Par aapni izzat ki dhajiya khud aapne haatho se uda rahi ho tum." (Whatever you had just done wasn't affected me. But you exploit your own reputation.) He said while looking at few associates who were watching Shagun and gossiping.

"You're mistaken, Raman."

"Oh c'mon.. I'm not dumb anymore." He chuckled and turned at her angrily asking, "Aise hi Ashok ko fasaya tha kya? But let me tell you one thing Shagun.. Iss dimaag mein jo chal raha hai, usse yehi chhod do.. I'm over with you and that's the FACT..!" (Did you trap Ashok like this? Whatever is coming in your mind, just throw them away.) Taking the glass from the Butler, Raman left from there while Shagun stomped her feet angrily. Meanwhile Ishita heard their conversation and felt sad for Raman.

Soon the award ceremony started. Bala, Raman along with other associates awarded for their respective categories and the party started.

"Ishu..!" Bala called her aside. Once she went, Bala introduced her with Ashok saying, "That's Ishita, I told you about her."

Ashok watched her, on which Ishita didn't feel comfortable. "Hello Miss. Ishita." He forwarded his hand, Ishita shook her hand with him. "So, Bala told me that you're a fashion designer.. Well.. If you want you can join my company. We're searching for a good designer for our company."

"Oh, that's really nice. I would love to work.." Ishita replied with a smile.

"Then come tomorrow for an interview, though I selected you but since, we need to do it officially, you know.." Ashok said.

"Yeah, sure." She smiled at him.

Soon couples started dancing there when Ashok asked for a dance to Ishita, though she denied. But on Bala request, she went on the floor with him when Raman's eyes fall on them, his anger arise immediately. "This Madrasan.. What is she doing with him..!"

He heard someone saying, "This time Ashok hit a six.. Shagun will give service at home and she will.. At office." They said eyeing Ishita, Roman's blood gets boiled.

He noticed them dancing quiet close when suddenly Raman's eyes fall on Ishita's back and he noticed her dress was unzipping. "Shit..!!" Keeping the glass on the table, he approached to them angrily and pulled her with jerk when she landed on his chest.

"What the.." Ashok yelled.

"Leave..! Shagun is waiting for you." As Raman said, Ashok glared at him and left the floor while Ishita stared at Raman confused and watched Ashok met with Shagun with a hug.

"What's this..!" She pushed him and was going to leave the floor but he held her hand tightly and pulled her close again keeping his hand on her back.

"I don't have any interest to dance with you. But I have to do it.. So you too do..!" He said angrily and placed her hands on his shoulders while slide his both hands on her waist, Ishita looked up at him while she gets lost in his black eyes.

Shagun saw them so close and gets jealous. While Raman and Ishita swayed their bodies when she sensed Raman's hand was moving on her back and he pulled the zip up, she pushed him yelling, "How dare you?"

Before anyone noticed them, and they gets embarrassed, Raman again pulled her saying, "Your dress was going to unzip.. I pulled the zip up.." When suddenly Shagun's act he remembered, which made him angry. "You know, I thought you're different.. But no, you proved me wrong.. You girls are so cheap. To get wealthy man's attraction, you can stoop so low, isn't?" As Raman accused on her character, her eyes gets moist. "You can't say like this." She said.

"Oh c'mon. Don't shed false tears, she even did the same to get Ashok attention and now you're..!! These are planned, right.. That dance, that unzipped dress."

"Just enough.." She cried. "I don't know.. How many girls have you seen doing this? But let me tell you one thing.. I'm not like that.. Mein Shagun ki tarah nahi hoon Mr. Raman Bhalla. And if you ask about Ashok, I don't even know him.. Bala jiju introduced him with me here and I approached to him for job.. Nothing else..!!" (I'm not like Shagun.) She sobbed when Raman realized his mistake, he knew.. Ishita wasn't like others but repeated acts made him furious and it burst on her. "Jitni baar mein aapke barey mein achha sochti hoon.. Aap khud aisa kuch kar dete hai ki mujhe aap se nafrat ho jati hai phirse." (The more I think about you the better.. You do something yourself that I started hating you again.) Saying this, she left from there.

As Raman realized his mistake, he followed her, they went to the garden, he saw her crying. Taking enough courage, he went to her and offered his handkerchief saying, "I'm sorry."

Ishita didn't turn at him. "I know.. I behaved so harshly. And I know Ishita, you aren't like others. But since evening, I was facing few things which made me furious and I couldn't control myself and burst on you. I'm sorry yaar."

As his voice was so polite and seeing his gentleness, Ishita's heart melted. She looked at him saying, "Aap mujhe kisi ke saath compare maat kijiye, especially Shagun jee ke saath. Hum dono bohot alaag hai Mr. Bhalla." (Please don't compare me with anyone.. Especially with Shagun. We're both different Mr. Bhalla.)

"I know.. I'm sorry for misunderstanding you." He apologized from heart, Ishita nodded saying, ".. And thank you for helping me."

"Shall we go in..!" Giving a nod to him, Ishita stepped ahead when she ached, "Ouch..!" She shut her eyes. Raman turned at her asking, "What's wrong..!"

"I think, aankh mein kuch chala gaya.." (Something came inside my eyes.) She was about to rub her eyes but he stopped her saying, "Don't do this. Let me see..!"

He came in front of her, and cupped her face while made her open her eyes and blow air in her eyes, he blew air few more times when they shared an eye lock. But very soon Ishita broke the eye lock when Raman asked, "Is it okay?" She nodded when he stepped back and they heard Shagun applaud.

She gets jealous seeing them, she was standing in a position that she thought they were kissing which made her furious. "Wow Raman.. Mujhe characterless bolte ho aur khud kya kar rahe ho..!" (You called me characterless, but look.. What you're doing..?)

As she passed comment, Ishita was going to leave but Raman held her hand saying, "Wait." He walked to Shagun saying, "Can you explain, what do you want to say?" Raman flicked his eye brow at her with a pause and then said, "But before you say.. Let me tell you one thing.. I'm not your husband that I should give you any explanation..! And second thing, how can I be characterless? Did I ever cheated on you..? As far I remember, when we were in relation, I didn't done anything wrong.. It was YOU always who cheated on me.. And by the way, why do you taunting us? We're divorced, so whatever I do in my life is completely my decision. Who are you to interfere..?"

"I'm not interfering in your life, I don't care.. But Ruhi, think about her.. What if she gets to know her father is having an affair with a married lady.." Shagun said looking at Ishita with disrespect.

"Don't you dare Shagun..!" He warned. "Your enmity is with me, don't drag her into this. And if you say about Ruhi, she will definitely accept her, Ishita knows how to win a kid's love." He said taking Ishita in his embrace while she looked up at him shocked. "Now, if you don't want to be insulted.. Leave us alone."

Giving a disgusted look, she left, when Raman pulled himself back saying, "I'm sorry. I have to answer her like this, she only understand this language."

"But you shouldn't behave with her like this." Ishita said.

"Let it be and I'm sorry again for my act." Sighing on his act, Ishita walked inside.

Ishita at the CEO Gala Evening and there she is introduced

to Ashok she feels uncomfortable with his stare

wonder if she will work in his company and how he will treat her

Raman sees Ishita's dress zip opening and grabs her into his arms so he can

zip her dress close and she thinks that he is trying to misbehave

while at the same time Raman seeing Shagun's stunts takes out his frustration

on Ishita and later he apologizes to her

Shagun is jealous seeing Raman with Ishita she cannot accept that he does not want her

in his life

and Shagun tries and insult Ishita but Raman did not allow it

I'm actually liking the way Raman and Ishita's acquaintance is coming along
