My family is originally from UP and it's very different there 😆 I think it's a lot more conservative compared to other states especially Maharashtra. Sometimes when I go there I am appalled by the thinking of some of my relatives.

Another thing is that my parents left India a long time back but wanted to stay with their culture. But, the Indian culture they have in mind is very different from the India today. Mentally they still think of India from the 80/90s. I'm not completely dissing my parents. They are very progressive in a lot of aspects - they never pressured me for studies, let me make my own career decisions, and are supportive of me going anywhere for work. But when it comes to dating and marriage, they are still old-fashioned.

Honestly there is a lot of talk about the show during lockdown and that's pretty good considering it was only on air for a month! It's going to be super hit when it comes back.
