Even after lockdown is lifted there will be social distancing norms in theatres and multiplexes which will make it nonviable as ticket prices may have to double to cover up for less occupancy. Just as single theatres disappeared after multiplexes came up, after covid we may find multiplexes disappear and streaming will be the norm. That's my guess.

Though we all know its never goin to be normal henceforth esp always a threat of some or the other virus, its a shame we hv to live under this constant fear of some calamity.

माझी देवावर नक्कीच श्रध्दा आहे पण अंधश्रद्धा नाही.पण तरीही आता रामायणातला एक संदर्भ आठवला.

सेतु बांधताना वानरांनी पाण्यात टाकलेले मोठे दगड बुडायला लागले. एवढी मेहनत करूनही सेतु बांधला जात नव्हता म्हणून सगळे वानर हताश झाले.तेव्हा हनुमानाने सांगितलं की त्या दगडांवर श्रीराम असे लिहा,आणि तस केल्यावर सेतु बांधला गेला.

तेव्हा वानरांनी कारण विचारल्यावर हनुमानाने सांगितल की जेव्हा माणसाचे सगळे प्रयत्न एका ठिकाणी येऊन थांबतात तिथेच परमेवर मदतीला येतो.

यात तथ्य नसेलही पण सध्याची परिस्थिती बघता आपण सगळेच ,जगातील प्रत्येक जण मग डॉक्टर्स,नर्स,पोलीस, जवान,लष्कर,राज्यकर्ते, अगदी सामान्य माणूसही आपापल्या परीने या युध्दात लढत आहे

शास्त्रज्ञ, डॉक्टर्स औषध असो अथवा लस असो त्यासाठी तर सतत त्या व्हायरसच्या संपर्कात आहेत.स्वत:च्या जीवाची पर्वा न करता अगदी सफाई कामगारांपासून भाजीवाल्यांपर्यंत त्यांच काम करत आहेत.

तेव्हा आता त्या परमेश्वराला खरच सांगावस वाटत की आता ये बाबा तू आणि माणसाच्या या अथक मेहनतीला यश दे.

ऑगस्टमध्ये तर गणपती आहेत म्हणजे साक्षात विघ्नहर्ता.तेव्हा त्या ईश्वरचरणी हीच प्रार्थना आहे की आता डॉक्टर्सच्या,शास्त्रज्ञ्यांच्या प्रयत्नांना यश येऊ देत.लस जेव्हा येईल तेव्हा येईल पण निदान यावर औषध तरी येऊ दे.

संभवामि युगे युगे,आता खर होऊ दे.

India simply cannot afford this kind of culture. Apart from movie theaters - Even work from home culture will result in huge loss for our economy. Use of petrol, cars , bikes, restaurants, eating stalls near offices like vada-pav, idli dosa, chai ki tapri, taxis , autos, buses and what not. Govt earns thousands of crores dailly only on fuel sale itself. Lot of industries / service sector are dependent on each other. They will be severly affected. We have huge population.

Eating stalls, restaurants, cars, trains etc. are basically essential and don't have alternatives so they will continue after covid but with some restrictions initially. Theaters/Multiplexes are likely to be very expensive after compulsory social distancing in seating and alternatives like streaming (with advertisements funding it) may become more popular than going to theaters. IMHO the trend can be reversed only if the stars cut down their exorbitant rates.

the theories including astrology have failed. People used AI from Singapore, various jyotishis & pandits predicted end of virus in May , also the theory that virus don't last in hot temperature in summer. Though we hope it ends soon , it may take few more months easily. Unless some vaccine gets effective results which is expected earliest by September or December this virus won't go it seems.

Amchya area madhe fruits, veggies supply pan bandh kelay 5 divas. Fakt milk, grocery ani medical open aahet. Pan lok rastyavar phirtat tyache kay ? No one checks them. Police cannot be present everywhere as they are heavily loaded.
