You don't really like Swapnil Joshi, at all.

When Swapnil Joshi gives BO hits, they are not hits but SM hits😵 , if Swapnil Joshi gets an award then awards are fixed 😛, if his Webseries is a hit it is because of some virus .

The only debatable film is Bhikari, that too beacuse of it's budget 🤔but all his films since 2015-16 like Fugay, welcome Zindagi, Ranangan, Tu Hi Re and others have been clean hits😎.

@RPRRR42, I don't know much abt Swapnil's other movies but MPM3 superhit, house full hota..MPM4 pan kadhnar, there is a section of audience who loves MPM franchise, I m one of them..

Ajach tyacha Me pan Sachin pahila, I absolutely loved his work,,he has definitely come a long way..I take back my earlier words for saying Ankush is a better actor than Swapnil..

Duniya Dari , Mitwa all were good movies, even Mangalashtak, I want to watch his Mogara Phulala..

@Bhetupunha ,,let's not term Vicky , Rajkumar as flop actors, they have given decent hits in the past...

I too really liked all 3 films in MPM series, as well as duniyadari. His chemistry with Mukta in these 3 ( as well as in ELDG earlier ) was great.

I do not agree that Swapnil is a non actor. I think his comic timing is quite good. And in Samantar, he has a different role which he has enacted well.

@bhetupunha - I am shocked by your claim that many Marathi movies are hits 🤔😯. Only those movies either produced or distributed by zee or colors are hits because they get ready-made ground for advertising their own movies. These are very few ones. Vicky kaushal - Uri & Raazi is a successful hero and R. Rao though not successful he is highly appreciated for his methodical acting. Both are not recognized as flop actors.

@pr_b : mpm3 i.e.lessons on pregnancy was a bad job by rajwade and I saw it in empty theaters believe me. I slept after 30 mins. They do not have any plans for mpm4 as of now. Mpm3 came on Amazon prime in 4-5 weeks.

Just to put it in perspective, I went thru some of the internet reports and it appears that mpm3 had first week box office collections of Rs. 15 crores and it must have grown after that. So, I guess they would have ended up at around 17-18 crores. I do not find any website which gives offical stats for box office collections.

But, if this number of 17-18 crores is true, then it should definietly be a hit as I do not think it's budget would be more than 10-12 crores at most.

Most of the Marathi movies recover the money invested and quite a few of them are profitable👍🏼.

About 100 Marathi movies are made every year , people would not invest money if they would not recover it with some profit 😉.

With a budget of about 1 crore it is not a tough ask😛. People involved in film making usually crib so that they can make more profit by underselling their recovery 😆.

I am sorry but Sanjay Jadhav sir does not seem to know what he is talking about. Sairat is once in a lifetime or once in a century film😎 . Which film gives you more than 100 crore with a budget of 4 crore ? Even Ashi Hi Banva Banvi has an adjusted BO collection of 30 crores today 😆.

They are not going to get another Sairat BO collection 😛

I would peg it even lower, about 5-7 crores 👍🏼

The purpose of making Marathi movies are different... Some movies are made to get subsidy from government.. therefore there is lot of crop of making low budget movies which doesn't even stay in theatre for a week or don't even get released
