He's rich but not famous. He's good-looking but doesn't get invited to parties. He's a nice guy but doesn't have contacts. He loved his wife but wasn't flaunting her to be introduced to strangers. However, the woman in question wanted to be noticed. She wanted to be called Mrs So-and-So. She was hankering for attention. She wanted to be seen on the Party Page of every newspaper. ^Avantika does give the ambitious vibe, she wants to be famous star wife, like a Meera.. be constantly on pg3 etc but Imran rarely goes out or attends filmy parties.. that may have created problems.

Anyway, that's a stupid reason to leave. At the cost of stardom, she would have to sacrifice loyalty.
