Just wanted to share my experience. I went back to office today, after staying home for almost 60 days. It was fun to work from home and staying with family, mom cooks and chit chat. I had to leave my hometown and go back to Kuala Lumpur. Here, I stays alone and do a job that I enjoy. So, I started office today and it wasn't easy. There is so much to do and follow. You can not neglect any of the procedure bcs you probably going to put others at risk. See, we don't even know if we are the carrier of Covid 19. We can not be irresponsible and selfish.
So, I followed the SOP and some other rules set by our office. I have been given a thermometer to check my temperatures daily and send to my manager. If my temperature exceed 37 then I'm consider having fever and had to get immediate medical assistant. Before going into office building, I have to go through security. Fill up forms with my personal details , check temperature and etc. In office, we have to maintain social distance and sanitize our hands from time to time. We don't wear mask in office which is a relief for us. All the documents sent by couriers needed to be fan outside for 24 hours by wearing gloves.
I don't cook at home. I prefer having my dinner outside. Today, I went Mc Donald's and there another procedure to follow. We have to scan QR code via facebook, fill details, check temperature, sanitize our hands and then only I was allowed to go in. Though, dine-in is not permitted, so I packed my food and only limited people allowed onetime. After that, I thought of doing groceries shopping, the store was beside mcd and again same procedure. I was so tired that I left my bread and went back home. The que was huge.
We have certain rules to follow bcs our lock down has not been lifted yet. We are on Conditional Movement of Control until 6 June. Shopping, exercises, no time limit for vehicles on road, 4 passengers per car, no roadblocks except on red zone and few others have been allowed now. A strict procedure for public transport. A bus that carry 40 passengers now can only carry 20. All metro / monorail, trains can only carry 50%. Interstate travelling is not allowed but some flexibility given to certain people upon permission.
I'm not complaining. It's just that, our lifestyle has changed. We have to adapt with this now. It going to cost several traffics.
