Like for eg. Diwali pe cleaning is mandatory, but does that guarantee there will never be dust in your house again or you will have to never clean again?

So, there had to be a war which pitched all the vardaan-ed people against each other as they were the only ones capable of ending each other. This way, the divine era ended paving a way for the Kali yuga (and the new problems too).

It was never about ending all problems. It was just so as to create more space and time for the newer problems that came along.

Also, Kritavarma/Kripa never took the lead role in that.

Kripa was a brahmin and kulguru of Dhrity so he was let go as well.

The P's never wanted to kill Drona. Krishna forced them to create the controversy, and then Dhrishdyumna killed him despite Arjun almost clutching his feet and begging him not to. 😭

And they were all there during Abhi's death. I should've used my words more carefully, I meant ke the main people who decided they would do this were KaDuNi and Dushy.

Kripa/Krita/Drona these guys simply did not stop them, and actively stopped Abhi from even trying to flee (he didn't, but also he couldn't even if he tried).

Yessss! I've been thinking about this since the time we were talking about saaf safai but didn't mention it explicitly. I too feel the connection and it's just #goosebumps

It's some sort of pralaya only if we go on to see, just a sober and controlled one.
