After killing Dury, why did the Pandavas leave these 3 people ( Kritavarma , Kripa and Ashwatthama ) alive?

Kritavarma and Kripa played a role in attacking Pandava camp at night and Ashwatthama killed Upapandavas and Panchalas! 😲

IMO, all 3 of them should have got punishment na?

Kritavarma was Krishna's relative so Ps let him go. And as far as I know Ps forgave everyone for Abhi's death except for Jayadrath.

Also, Kritavarma/Kripa never took the lead role in that.

Kripa was a brahmin and kulguru of Dhrity so he was let go as well.
