I would ignore such comments because it is inevitable to avoid comparison comments. What people should look at that the show is completely different from S1 and should look at it from a new perspective. I wouldn't feel the pressure in this case because the entire story is different.Lol I was watching Mohika's IV and Mohit goes I used to get a lot of hate messages when I was cast as Shravan because people said that Namik Paul is only Shravan and I was compared to him. This only motivated me to work harder and slowly those comments disappeared. Then he stares off into space and says, sometimes I miss those comments

If you look at reboots, then the pressure is still there but I still won't be surprised because the person is giving life into the character in a different way. Like the person who played a character in 2000 is giving a different twist in comparison to the person playing it in 2020. I don't exactly get why people are pressurized for playing iconic characters. Yeah, they raised the bar but the other can raise it even higher without looking pressurized. Comparisons are bound to happen but I wouldn't care much.

@Bold I completely agree! In fact, I think S2 has surpassed my expectations so far but the army leap is yet to come and I have really high hopes from them! But, I trust this PH as they always make really good shows. The actors in S2 despite being newcomers are performing so well and putting in their all!
