ohh I watched Rangrasiya late as well, I only started because I found Sanaya in it, then I really liked Ashish too. haha yes Rudra as a character was very stereotypical angry young man types, but Ashish had a special charm of some sort (he looked damn hot in that army uniform and mustache😆😳)

🤣omg yes! the jagada and banter between kaakisa and Rudra was soo good, hilarious! I loved how they kept taunting each other on every little thing😆 (similar to our initial Abir-BB funny tashans😛)

Same here, it took me a while to catch on the language dialect, but haan those sarcastic taunts were so fun👏

Acha...with yrhpk I am OG ardent follower. I watched it right from the start, all episodes but only joined the forum half way through last year (just before kuku shaadi and mishbir confession). Absolutely agree! I'm so grateful for having found such a lovely positive warm group of people, that we all have never seen but love each other organically based on our personalities here on the forum❤️

p.s nahi yaar, I saw that he did a mytho show and just saw his pics. Didn't follow or watch it. Heard he did really really well thou

p.p.s I was so pleasantly surprised to rangrasiya kaaka (a.k.a Sanjeev sir) in our show now as Kaushal maam👏 He has such an awesome comic timing, which we don't see in Rangrasiya.

haan dr..that is true..i havent yet watched all episodes in IPKKND😆..but i try watching them whenever i find time..& if at all my mood goes downhill , an episode or a scene of IPKKND is my ultimate relief❤️..even after all these years, it works wonders

@bold:..true that..in fact i loved how much he treasured his job & uniform..his breakdowns holding his uniform were sheer par excellence yaara❤️

@ps -- haan dr..that show was abt an underrated prince..but he was too good..& his chemistry with sonarika was also praiseworthy😛

@pps -- haan yaara Sanjeev sir is so talented & he loves our show to no extent😳..he is also being underused like most of the other cast to be honest..

and the similarity in the characters is that both Kakusa(Rangrasiya) & Maamu(YRHPK) are immensely loved by their wives but they dont have a say against them 😆 or to be exact even infront of them🤣

Yes I loved the music too in Rangrasiya, very folk and traditional❤️ Yup the initial plot was very intriguing (the idea of people 'selling' brides over the border for money etc) - possible based on a true concept haina?

Yup they really ruined Paro and Rudra characters by killing off Paro. And then to make things worse a 'look-alike' character enters with a leap I only watched the post-leap for Ashish's acting, and ofcourse Kaaki sa's redemption which was wrapped up in 2 episodes in the last bit🤣 The actress who played Kaaki sa did a great job with that change in expressions of regret - got a little teary tbh.

I was soo excited when I heard Ipkknd was coming back for web series...but it became a little anti-climatic; it was basically just them reminiscing about the original story🤔 (like rhesha bytes for quaranting now😆) But still it was wonderful to see the two actors to grace the screens again and Arshi❤️

I read your vignette, it was awesome yaar, keep it coming. I know I went missing lately, but I am working on a few of my mishbir ff, hopefully I shall be done with them this weekend

Yes my parents were very firm and focused in that aspect, and I'm grateful for them now that I'm older and look back to my childhood, I appreciate them keeping me connected to our culture, family and traditions despite being so far away.🤗❤️

Ohh don't worry yaar ammu, my friend is also reasonable familiar with the mahabharat story, she too has read some books and watched bits and pieces of the classic brc mb too👍🏼 Ofcourse I did mention to her to watch that one as well. But as we live abroad, it's hard to access and watch many indian serials - especially if they are old (not currently on air). So since the modern mahabharat (Star plus) one is re-telecasting, it's easier to find online, so I suggested for her to check it out if she wants to😊

Yes that super nice, ipkknd really does have that affect even after all these year, it never fails to brighten and lighten your day🤗❤️

Oh absolutely agree, he had some really strong emotional performances especially in regards to his patriotism and dedication to his job👏👏👍🏼

I'm not sure whether Kaakusa(Rang) loved Kaki the same like Kaushlu and Nidhi love each other - they are both very different types of couple and their equation is very very contrasting. Kakusa(Rang) was powerless and mostly submissive (few exceptions when he shouted at Kaakisa or at least try to reason with her) in front of his wife. Kakisa was the head of the family (like Meenu is here), so he was married to the strong-headed woman who ran the household and business. Whereas here yrhpk, Kaushal mamu is married to an innocent clumsy wife who also does not have a say in the family. He has a little bit of extra authority over Nidhi as she is not domineering or intimidating like Kaaki or Meenu.

But I understand what you were trying to say, don't mind me I just wanted to clarify my opinion on the two characters

ha yes she is redeemed, but it is very rushed😆 since the show was deemed to go off-air, they had to make it happy in the end - so her character apologises for everything in the last 2-3 episodes.

But the scene was very nice, the actress did a great job👍🏼

@bold:..haina ❤️ ..& literally i never get bored of any scene for that matter..in fact many times i have been like..array..yeh pehle kaise miss kardhi meine😆..for there are many multicharacter scenes & it's literally impossible to notice every1's reaction in 1 go u see😛

@italics:..array not Shah dr..i was talking abt Ashish only..his role in Prithvi Vallabh is abt a highly underrated peace-loving prince who was very much interested in music😳..his onscreen pair was Sonarika yaara..their chemistry was also good😛

i agree with you dr😊..what i was saying was in Rangrasiya it was Kakusa & Kakisa loved each other & so got married (theirs was a love marriage actually)& only for their marriage Rudra's papa & mom got married bcoz Rudra's mom was Kakisa's lil sister..& even though Kakisa nvr liked Rudra & his parents , she loved his husband to no end.. & Kakusa also loved her equally & that is y so many times he couldnt control her antics..he himself confessed all this in episodes where Rudra's mom comes back yaara..

in our show, Kaushal Maamu & Nidhi Maami had an arranged marriage & after that they have grown to love each other..they r much in love couple only second to BP - BM u see 😆 ..& there wer many instances preleap where Maamu just gives in to Maami's antics(cute r they , though compared to Kakisa's 😆 )..during the epi b4 lockdown was the nly time he argued vid her i guess...& y not she was not behaving like the maami we have known her to be..which is obviousy due to our CV's love for unending drama😆

Hi5 chandu..I also started with DMG..i was a bigg dmg fan.. but later on i stopped watching.. KSG and rhat firts ridhima (aka shilpa) was but then KSG and jenni was too firee yaar.. And from there only i started watching geet coz of her muskan character.. Uske baad i watched Madhubala but never liked vivi..but let me tell u later i started liking him too.. but after a year or so i left the show. And then i watched all her other shows but ek b acha nahi tha.. and silsila ki to baat hi mat kero yaar🙄🙈🙉🙉🙉..I stopped watching that only after 2 or 3 mnths.. Kyaa script thi and kyaa dikhaya.🙄😏😏😑😐😐😐
