Part 7

Raman sat in a dark place and started drinking thinking everything from beginning, their first meeting in school , where she saved him from some bully's, his crush on her . The day when he last saw her after her last exam of class twelfth. His days when he thought that his first love will remain incomplete ,then the first day when he saw her photo in one of business magazine and finally the day of their first meeting in his interview and days after that . He was recalling everything and crying , he wiped his tears with the back of his palm like a kid and spoke " why ishita why ,why can't you see my love for you , why can't you see the longing for you on my eyes, why did you chose him over me ."

Saying so he cried more ,drinking alcohol direct from the bottle . He has almost completed more than half of the bottle and was feeling tipsy .He got up to go then stopped and said " where are you going Raman. Stop thinking about ishita ,she is very busy ,so much to look after you ,got that . No one is looking for you ,so just sit here and complete your drink ,then go to your room and sleep ,hiding your tears in the pillow ."

Saying so he sat again and was about to drink again when he heard" Raman,Raman is it you ?"

Raman smiled sarcastically listening to her voice and answered"yeah ,its me ma'am."

Ishita came here him and asked "why are you here alone ,I have been looking for you since long ."

Raman looked at her and asked "kyun, Party khatam ho gayi kya ,hotel chalna hai ."

He said standing from his place , she noticed that he was struggling in standing and asked " are you drunk ?"

R- nahi to ,I was just sitting .

I- that I can see ,but why are you here in dark ,I was looking for you to introduce you and the ladies ,they had just irritated me by asking about you . Chalo the party on its peak, may be you can meet your someone special .

Saying so ishita held his hand and tried dragging him when he spoke " I had already met my someone special ."

Ishita turned to him and asked " what did you just said ".

R- nothing .

Saying so he started walking with little tipsy state while ishita followed him .They were going inside when they heard some voice , they went towards the sound and saw two person making out . The girl was wearing black dress while the man was wearing light grey colour suit . The man was go on kissing the girl while she was saying " sir please wait ,till we reach our hotel room ".

Man- that we will see later but now you get this as punishment for getting close to sone other man.

Girl- if you don't like me being with anyone else ,then think how I feel when you are with your fiancee.

Man - be in your limit , you are my PA and you are being paid to fulfil my needs including physical needs too .

Girl- what if your fiancee catch us .

Man - don't worry about her ,she is busy with media .don't spoil my mood by talking about her . Got that .

Saying so tge man pressed his lips on the girls lips ,ishra saw eachother . Both unnderstood that who is the man and woman , Raman was going close to them saying " I think thats your fiance ,how dare he..."

Ishita stopped him and said " no ,it can't be Ashok ,he is inside ,I just saw him ,talking to some old man ."

R- ok .

Saying so she almost drag Raman inside . The moment they entered , many people again surrounded them to have photos with them ,actually with ishita. One of the man started talking to them about some project ,ishita told that it has been made by Raman and they started talking about the project . As Raman was drunk, he couldn't talk straight, so he excused saying " I m so sorry sir ,I m bit tipsy ,can't concentrate , can we please talk about this tomorrow. "

The person agreed and went ,Raman turn to see ishuta but couldn't found her. He again felt sad thinking ,she left him again , then he recalled about the incident which they witnessed outside and he started looking for Ashok. He couldn't find Ashok but noticed ishita sitting on bar stool. He walked to her ,only to notice she was drinking ,he saw she has already emptied four glasses of wine and was demanding more . Raman got bit surprised seeing ishita like that ,as till now he has never seen her drinking . He walked to her and asked " ishita ma'am ,you are drinking ."

I- kyun koi problem hai , if you men drink then its ok ,if I drink then there is problem , if you men gets award its ok ,If I got that award by working so hard ,I must have got that by pulling some strings. If I talk to my PA nicely then I must be having affairs with him where as the truth is, that good for nothing man is sleeping with his secretary. Why my actions are always questioned and not his .

Raman can notice sadness in her voice, he felt bad seeing her this vulnerable . For the very first time he got to know that she was hiding her sadness behind her arrogant face.He walked near her and noticed there were some unshed tears in her eyes , he tried to wipe the tears but she wiped it herself and said " I m ok ."

Raman held her hand and spoke " ishita its time for us to go back to our hotel room ."

I- no I m liking here .

Saying so she turned towards the bartender and said " one more , more stronger than earlier."

The bartender turned to make her drink when Raman held her hand tightly and spoke " ishita enough ,we need to leave ."

Saying so he made her stand and dragged her out of the hall , on the way he saw Ashok who was busy in flirting with another girl ,forgetting totally about ishita .
